Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
When it threatens the life of the mother.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The WA capitol gains tax should be eliminated. Also the long term care insurance tax should be permanently removed.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
There is frivolous and pork spending across the board that should be cut. An example of this overspending can be seen in the $17 Billion Transportation Bill where $54 million is set aside for ultra high speed rail and $216 million for bicycle give away and millions for free rides. I would advocate for elected oversight of Sound Transit and their spending of billions and billions of dollars of our hard earned tax payer dollars.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

If they are involved in proven illegal activity, just like any organization. Never for peaceful religious gatherings.

Vaccinations are a personal choice and I believe in medical and religious freedoms. If there is a moral, medical or religious objection, no one should be forced to inject their bodies.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
I am running for local office in the state legislature and do not have a voice in the US Congress.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Too many drugs, especially fentynal are coming through our southern border and killing our residents due to lack of boder security. Human trafficing is also an issue. America welcomes 1 million immigrants a year as new citizens - these people come here legally and through proper channels. This is more than any other country. We are a country of laws and securing our border helps maintain our immigration laws.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We take in 1 million immigrants a year. As long as they have the ability to provide for themselves, have no criminal history and are productive members of society and are willing to follow our immigration process, they should be welcomed.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

52% of students received an "F" in English and 70% failed math in our schools recently. With an average of $16k-18k per student/year this is not a good return on investment. Over 45,000 children have been removed from our public schools in the past year due to test sores, inappropriate curriculum and emphasis on politics in the classroom. With school choice, competition will raise academic bar for all schools and allow parents to find the best fit for their child.

Photo identity is easy to get for everyone and this ensures integrity in the voting system.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
While I realize WA State mail in voting is convenient, I prefer in person voting. I also believe that same day registration and automatic enrollment with drivers licenses seem to have inconsistencies and cause concerns and should be reviewed. Cleaning up voter roles from those who have moved or passed away needs to be addressed.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
While I do believe we can all work to be kinder and more understanding, I do not believe that racism is a domestic threat to our Country. Those trying to divide us all into groups is the bigger threat. We are one America.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. As an Environmental Engineer, I have expertise with our current environmental laws and have protected our environment through pollution prevention, hazardous waste clean up and environmental restoration. We have strict laws on the books now. We also have many regulations that are biased, and rather than being science based, are being used to push agendas instead of truly improving our environment.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Where it makes sense, yes. America was recently energy independent and now has once again become dependent on foreign oil. This hurts our economy and the working families and individuals who pay more to drive to work each day. At the time of this writing gas is over $5/gallon and rising. This is contributing to inflation, higher prices in food and other goods that are shipped to stores, and hurting businesses still trying to recover from the COVID shutdowns.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Degree in Civil/Enviromental Engineering, My father was an Air Force Veteran and my daughter now attends the US Air Force Academy. Sense of Duty to Serve is deep in me and my values. I want to go to Olympia to fight for the people of the 21st LD, Snohomish County and Washington State to correct the course in our state. I love our state. Too many friends are moving because of our politics and taxation here. You deserve to have elected officials that listen to you, work for you and fight for a better and brighter future for Washington State. I ask for your vote!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
