QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only if the life of the mother is at risk
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I would support a flat tax.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
All expenditures should be reviewed and programs that are not achieving their projected goals should be eliminated and a new program should be considered. Corporate welfare should be eliminated and there should be a time limit that a family or individual can be on welfare. Also, welfare should be conditioned on doing some type of work.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Freedom of religion should certainly extend to individuals and their businesses
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C or D. I firmly believe in the free market and that business would fill the need for low cost health insurance.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I am not a big fan of government mandates especially when it concerns unproven vaccines like the ones for COVID. COVID vaccines have not been prove safe especially when you consider the low fatality rate for those who are not vaccinated.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
I am not sure, but clearly there are many Islamic terrorists that we need to protect our country from. In addition, we need to stop them from radicalizing domestic terrorists.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Israel has the right to handle their own foreign affairs and safety. It is none of the United States business.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need to lockdown our borders. We need to make sure we know who is coming into our country and keep out criminals and those who are infected with deadly diseases
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should look at this issue every year and then set quotas each year which outlines the qualifications in order to enter this country. The qualifications could be none or there could be a number of requirements. It would be determined each year.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
As John Adams said our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
We already have far too many lawsuits. If you want to identify as a gender other than what you were born as, that is your choice, but you should not require others to agree with your choice.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am Greek Orthodox and I believe in the Holy Trinity
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Voting is a very important aspect of our democratic republic and only eligible voters should be able to vote. Therefore, we need to make sure people are who they say they are with a valid photo ID
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Absentee voting has grown significantly and we need to make sure people are who they say they are when they vote absentee. Currently people who are checking signatures do not have the skill set and we need a better way to insure the person voting the absentee ballot is the person who is suppose to vote that ballot.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Prior to President Obama taking office race relations were very good. Since Obama was President agitators have made a career of stoking the fires and creating division where none existed.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. Why should we hurt our economy when countries like China ignore environmental concerns and pollute their country and world..
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Fracking is proven safe and is a valuable tool to get the energy we need.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To protect those least able to care for themselves
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
This interview shows that I will call out corruption wherever it is found https://www.wxyz.com/news/region/macomb-county/secret-payment-of-200-000-to-shelby-twp-clerk-still-questioned-by-republicans
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I believe in a smaller more efficient government with fewer burdensome regulations.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
While we need to increase mental health funding I do not think it should come from police funding.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
We have enough gun laws. What we need are more moral people. People who believe in the sanctity of life.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Guns are legal and if someone uses them in the commission of a crime it is their fault not the gun manufacturers. Gun manufacturers should be immune from these types of lawsuits.
