QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Agree
As a business that profits from abortion, they would not be a reliable source.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
When the life of the mother is in immediate danger, such as an ectopic pregnancy.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
It is the government's responsibility to ensure everyone has the liberty to pursue a livable income. That's it.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
There should be no government funding for pre-school. Public education should be state and local only with no input from the US Department of Education. Government has no business funding or directing private and home schools.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree
Government should recognize marriage, but there's no need to subsidize it with taxpayer money.
The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.
Strongly Disagree
Amendment I prohibits the establishment of an official church to avoid a "Church of the United States" like there is a Church of England. It does not prohibit expression of religious beliefs in the public square. American law is founded in the principles of the Ten Commandments anyway.
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely. Kids should never be taught that censorship by a government authority is acceptable.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
In addition to properly funding and equipping our service members, America has to stop policing the entire world and getting involved in other countries civil wars, especially in the Middle Eastern countries.
EDUCATION
Every state should mandate K-12 standardized tests and the use of teaching software which aligns with Common Core standards.
Strongly Disagree
Common Core standards are part of why American education failing. The federal government has no business coercing or pressuring states to adopt a one-size-fits-all approach to education.
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Strongly Agree
It is up to parents to decide if their children will attend public, private, or home schools. If they choose public or private schools, then they collaborate with other parents to influence curriculum.
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Strongly Agree
These subjects shouldn't be the business of public schools anyway, but if a school adopts them parents have a right to see the curriculum ahead of time and decide for themselves.
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Strongly Disagree
1619 is historical fiction, even criticized by liberal scholars. Anti-racism, social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion are just euphemisms for critical race theory, which has no place in any school. It's antithetical to the American way of life to teach kids to judge each other by their skin color, sex, or religion. CRT is a derivative of critical theory, which is essentially Marxism. In short, don't preach socialism to kids dressed up as "tolerance."
The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.
Strongly Agree
Federal money and its strings are the #1 threat to Wyoming's way of life. If Wyoming continues to sacrifice principles, values, and liberty in exchange for money, we will be Wyoming in Name Only shortly. Values of liberty, family, and faith will be replaced with socialism, state, and secularism.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
The freest and most prosperous nations in history depended on people who could be trusted to do the right thing without government oversight. It's no coincidence that as America becomes more secular, issues of violence and addiction increase while communities and families disintegrate.
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Girls sports were created for one reason, the biological physical advantages males have in general over females. Hormone injections and plastic surgery do not erase these differences. For example, I'm 6'9". If I artificially suppress my testosterone levels to play women's basketball, I'm still 6'9". While it is not the job of the government to tell kids how to dress or identify, it is their job to protect girls' sports that they fund.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My Christian values guide how I raise my children and conduct myself. They guide my decision-making and my efforts in life. However, my personal relationship with God is just that, and I don't make a public spectacle of it.
No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.
Strongly Agree
I strongly agree if we're talking abortions, "gender-affirming treatment," or vaccinations. The one exception is emergency medical treatment where every second is critical.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
There's only one reason I say "conservative" and not "very conservative." I have libertarian leanings on the size and scope of government. Sometimes some people on the right side of the spectrum are attracted to using government power to implement their viewpoints, like censoring left-wing views. Liberty is my primary concern, and left-wing ideology is better defeated by dismantling it in the public arena, not censoring it.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I've been on podcasts such as Cowboy State Politics, The Ramble Room, and GoBeWyo, which can be found at Cross Creek Media. https://crosscreekmedia.com/opinion-and-podcasts
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What books have had the most profound impact on your view of life?
The Bible, F.A. Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom," Ludwig von Mises "Socialism," and Thomas Sowell's "Knowledge and Decisions." The latter three explain why socialism and government control not only always fail, but why the worst people get in charge.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I'm probably both the most qualified and most unlikely candidate running for statewide office. I'm no politician. I'm an introverted family man who has quietly worked hard to take care of my wife and six children, through my daughter's leukemia, through my wife's breast cancer, and through the complications of my son's Down syndrome. I wasn't blessed to be born in Wyoming, having come from parts of the country where liberal ideology has already failed spectacularly. I chose to bring my wife and children here three years ago because it's a way of life that aligns with our values. I have no desire for political power or prestige. I was asked by the people of Wyoming and the many members of the Wyoming State GOP to be the next Superintendent because of my values, knowledge, intellect, and educational expertise. Furthermore, I earned my degrees in Chicago, the home of Barack Obama. I know the language of the left and CRT. I know their tactics of hiding behind children to advance causes, and I know how to fight these tactics. I didn't choose for our children's schools to be the front line in the culture war. The far left did that. That's why I'm stepping up to the front line myself to run for Superintendent. I'm running due to my sense of civic duty and answering the call to serve. I'm doing this to protect my children and yours.

2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.
Strongly Agree
This is the only solution that increases security right now. The next deranged shooter already has his gun, his ammo, and his plans. Teachers have already demonstrated across American that they will die to protect their students. They shouldn't have to.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Do you support mandatory vaccinations for children attending public school?
No. This is a parents' decision. I am also strongly against offering even voluntary vaccinations at schools of highly experimental COVID shots for which we won't know the long term effects for many years.
I support mask mandates.
Strongly Disagree
They violated the rights of parents and students, and in practical terms, mandates provide no health benefits overall. They have nothing to do with safety, just political symbolism of authority and control.
