QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

None

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

My answer does not pertain in any way to the death penalty, of which I am in favor.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I am against any form of government-imposed minimum wage.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D: This is the ideal scenario because it is not the government's responsibility to provide health care. However, we would have to transition away from government funded health care in a way that does not abruptly abandon those that depend on these programs. There are several other government funded programs that could and should be cut before the health care programs, and this would allow for a gradual and responsible transition away from government funded health care.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None with the exception of joining the military and private employers; even then, exemptions and reasonable accommodations should be made.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anybody provided they go through the current legal immigration process.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Agree

There are several options that could be used to accomplish this, which might include education savings accounts (ESA), tax credits, property tax reductions, etc. The point would be to allow parents more choice in how they choose to educate their children, which would improve the quality of all education options.

VALUES

Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.

Strongly Agree

I have sponsored bills that would have criminalized sexually explicit materials being available to children in schools and libraries. I have also testified at school board meetings in support of removing these obscene materials.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

I co-sponsored a bill that became law that prohibits medical "transitioning" of minors in Wyoming. I also sponsored a bill to eliminate the definition of "gender identity" in state statute which would have required people to be classified based on their biological sex.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm a born again Christian who believes the resurrection of Jesus Christ provides the only way to heaven, and the Bible can provide the answer to every question in life. My life is an example of what God can do when you yield your life to Him and let His Word influence the way that you live. I believe that a moral framework for every individual provides the backbone of a healthy and prosperous society. I believe that each one of us will have to stand before God and give an account for the decisions we made in our lives, and I hope this affects the choices we all make. I'm not really concerned about the questions I'm going to ask God some day; I'm more concerned about the questions He's going to ask me.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. When racially charged riots destroy property or hurt individuals, this poses a domestic threat to the common welfare and domestic tranquility granted to all Americans in the Constitution.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I wrote an article that further details my opinion on this topic. The article is available on my campaign website.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A & C

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Hydropower is the most reliable and cost effective energy source. However, coal is the most available and should be utilized whenever possible.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The broad purpose is stated in the Preamble to the Constitution. Government is entrusted with establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, defense of the nation, promoting general welfare, and securing liberty for all Americans.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.

Without the 2nd Amendment, there is nothing preventing the loss of our other rights guaranteed by the Constitution. We owe it to every American to defend our 2nd Amendment rights.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

I was an outspoken critic when the City considered decriminalizing marijuana. I am also opposed to Wyoming legalizing medical marijuana.
