QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I do not believe taxpayer dollars should directly or indirectly fund abortion providers or abortion procedures. I support directing public healthcare funding toward community health centers and organizations that provide broader medical services without performing abortions. I believe many taxpayers have deeply held moral and religious objections to abortion, and public policy should respect those concerns while continuing to support access to essential healthcare services for women & families.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I am pro-life and believe unborn life deserves legal protection. At the same time, I recognize there are difficult and tragic situations that require compassion and careful consideration. I support allowing exceptions in cases involving a serious threat to the life of the mother. I believe policy should seek to protect both human life and the health and safety of women while encouraging alternatives such as adoption, support services, and resources for mothers and families.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I believe human life is inherently valuable and deserves legal protection and dignity from conception until natural death. I support policies that protect unborn children while also supporting mothers, families, adoption services, healthcare access, and resources that help both women and children thrive.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
I believe human embryos represent developing human life and should be treated with dignity and respect. I do not support the purposeful destruction of embryos created through artificial reproductive methods, and I believe ethical standards and protections should be part of how these technologies are used.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
I support enforcing laws as written and believe Congress and the courts have a responsibility to clarify and determine how federal statutes such as the Comstock Act apply in modern contexts.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I support a balanced approach to minimum wage policy that protects workers while also recognizing the realities faced by small businesses, family-owned operations, and local employers.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
As a business owner, I believe strongly in cutting taxes, lowering regulations, and getting the government out our lives. Renting is never as good as owning.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
-Full Transparency & Independent Audits of State Spending -Freeze Bureaucratic Expansion & Reduce Administrative Bloat -Performance-Based Budgeting -Crack Down on Fraud, Abuse, and Improper Payments -Prioritize Infrastructure, Public Safety, and Essential Services Over Political Spending (like fixing the roads)
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me, “separation of church and state” means the government should not establish or control a religion, and individuals should be free to practice their faith without government interference. The principle was intended to protect religious liberty — not to remove faith or religious values from public life. Our country was founded on freedoms that allow people to openly live out their beliefs, speak about them publicly, and participate in civic life regardless of religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
believe there should be reasonable protections for sincerely held religious and moral beliefs, particularly when the service involves compelled speech, artistic expression, or direct participation in something that violates a person’s conscience. At the same time, I support treating all people respectfully and ensuring there are practical ways for consumers to access services without discrimination or hostility.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. I believe government should maintain a safety net for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those truly in need, while preserving a strong private healthcare market that promotes competition, innovation, and patient choice. Expanding government-run healthcare too broadly risks increasing costs, reducing quality, limiting provider access, and creating greater federal and state dependency.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Disagree
While public health agencies may need limited, anonymized health data for research, disease tracking, and emergency preparedness, I do not support the government maintaining broad personal databases of citizens’ ongoing medical conditions for economic monitoring purposes. Protecting medical privacy and individual liberty is important, and sensitive health information should be handled with strict safeguards and limited government intrusion.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
believe the Chinese Communist Party poses significant strategic threats to the United States in multiple areas, including military expansion, cyberattacks, intellectual property theft, supply chain dependence, and economic influence. America must strengthen domestic manufacturing, protect critical infrastructure and technology, defend against cyber threats, and reduce reliance on adversarial nations for essential goods and resources.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. I believe the United States’ relationship with Israel is important because Israel is one of America’s strongest democratic allies in the Middle East and a key strategic partner in intelligence sharing, counterterrorism, military cooperation, and regional stability. The alliance also reflects shared values including democracy, individual liberty, religious freedom, and the rule of law. A strong relationship with Israel helps support stability in a volatile region and strengthens America.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
People need to come to our country legally, so to have a city status that protects this is simply illegal.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Agree
I support returning greater control of education to states, local communities, parents, and school districts rather than relying on increasing federal control from Washington. Education decisions are often best made closest to the students, families, and teachers they directly affect. I believe reducing the role of the U.S. Department of Education can help decrease bureaucracy, unfunded mandates, and one-size-fits-all policies while allowing states to pursue solutions that better reflect them.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
I believe foreign governments, particularly adversarial nations, should not have influence over American education through direct funding arrangements, partnerships, or programs that could shape curriculum, research priorities, or political influence. America’s education system should remain independent, transparent, and accountable to American students, parents, and taxpayers.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
I believe parents have the fundamental right and primary responsibility to direct the upbringing, education, and healthcare decisions of their children. Government and schools should work in partnership with parents — not replace them. Parents deserve transparency, involvement, and a meaningful voice in decisions affecting their child’s education, health, and overall well-being.I support policies that strengthen parental rights while ensuring children are protected/receive a quality education.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
I believe children experiencing gender dysphoria deserve compassion, counseling, and support, and I also believe parents should be closely involved in major decisions affecting a child’s development and long-term health.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I believe marriage is a sacred institution traditionally defined as the union of one man and one woman, rooted in religious faith, family structure, and longstanding cultural values. I also believe individuals and religious organizations should be free to uphold and express those beliefs without government coercion or discrimination.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Agree
Disagree. I do not support broad expansion of gambling in Michigan. While gaming can generate revenue, expanded gambling also brings concerns involving addiction, financial hardship, impacts on families, and pressure on local communities. I believe state government should be cautious about becoming increasingly dependent on gambling revenue as a long-term economic strategy. Any gaming policy should prioritize responsible regulation, consumer protections, and the overall well-being of Michigan.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith and values are grounded in Christianity and the belief that every person has inherent worth and dignity. I believe in personal responsibility, service to others, integrity, compassion, and the importance of strong families and communities. My faith influences how I approach leadership, encouraging humility, accountability, respect for others, and a commitment to doing what is right even when it is difficult.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Proof of citizenship is a must.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
I do not support reparations based solely on race. I believe government policies should focus on equal opportunity, economic growth, strong education, safe communities, and helping all Americans succeed regardless of race or background. America should continue working to ensure fairness and equal treatment under the law while promoting unity rather than policies that divide people by race.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Agree. I believe women’s sports and private women’s spaces should be protected on the basis of biological sex to preserve fairness, safety, and privacy. This includes athletic competition, locker rooms, shelters, and other sex-specific spaces where those concerns are significant.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
I believe environmental stewardship and conservation are important responsibilities, but I do not support alarmist policies that dramatically expand government control, raise energy prices, or weaken American industry and energy independence.I support practical, science-based solutions that encourage innovation, cleaner technology, responsible energy production, conservation, and infrastructure improvements without placing excessive burdens on families, farmers, small businesses, or manunufactur
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
I believe environmental stewardship is important, and we should continue pursuing practical, science-based conservation. However, I do not support extreme policies that dramatically increase energy costs, weaken American manufacturing, and hurt us.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Overall, my views would best be described as conservative, with a strong emphasis on constitutional principles, limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, religious freedom, strong families, public safety, and American sovereignty. I believe government functions best when it is accountable, efficient, and focused on protecting the rights and freedoms of its citizens while allowing individuals, families, communities, and businesses to thrive.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The primary goals of the criminal justice system should be protecting public safety, delivering equal justice under the law, holding offenders accountable, and supporting the rights of victims. I believe the system should prioritize reducing violent crime, enforcing laws consistently, and ensuring communities remain safe.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
I believe government has a legitimate responsibility to help protect children from online sexual exploitation, human trafficking, predatory behavior, and harmful content. Technology companies and online platforms should also be held accountable for maintaining strong safeguards, reporting illegal activity, and cooperating with law enforcement when crimes against children occur.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
I believe the United States should be governed exclusively by the U.S. Constitution, federal law, and state law — not by foreign legal systems or religious codes. American courts and public institutions must remain grounded in constitutional principles, individual rights, and equal protection under the law.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I strongly support the Second Amendment and the constitutional right of law-abiding citizens to own and carry firearms for self-defense, hunting, sport shooting, and protection of their families. At the same time, I believe there should be enforcement of existing laws designed to keep firearms out of the hands of violent criminals, domestic abusers, and individuals who pose a legitimate danger to others. However, I do not believe ‘red flag’ laws, as they are written, are constitutional.
