RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
State Representatives should be extremely active and attentive to the tax code. Representing District 62, I would be a voice for tax changes that directly impact my district.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Misused and misappropriated funds have been plaguing our state budget for quite sometime. We need to complete reassess our spending mechanisms and how we can better fund programs that are important to our state. Having served on a school board, I understand the importance of appropriately allocating and spending taxpayers dollars. It is this experience that I will be bringing to Lansing.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
While I respect and understand the governments current ability to close churches due to public health concerns, I feel that churches have the best interest of their congregation. Churches should be able to self govern and decide when they should remain open and when they should close.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am born and raised Catholic and have brought up my children in the faith. God created all of us in his image and hence we should always choose love and kindness.

ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Government is meant to provide law and order while maintaining freedoms and liberties. Individuals who are elected are intended to represent the people who put them in their position.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My journey to this position started 16 years ago when my son was diagnosed with autism. Since then I have advocated for special education which lead to running for school board. After serving on L'Anse Creuse school board for the past 5 years, I have learned that serving in a public office is about the people you represent. After being trusted with my communities children for the past 5 years, and the love and support from my family, I know this is the next step for me. I look forward to continuing to put others before myself and improving my community. I am ready to be the voice that has been lacking.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Public safety is a very important part of our community. It directly impacts our day to day lives. Being able to protect your family and home should coincide with public safety.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Agree
