OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life begins at conception. I believe life is precious and a blessing from God

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I believe in a pro-growth tax code to help protect over-taxation of Americans, with less restrictions to allow for small business growth.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Allow for more opportunity versus government handouts.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

There are no circumstances that the government should be allowed to close churches, the first amendment allows for assembly.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. Medicare should remain for 55 and older. Others should have options between traditional and premium-support model; this in turn will strengthen patient choice and promote cost-saving competition amongst providers. I would support modernization of Medicaid.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. I believe in medical freedom without discrimination or penalties.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

I believe Americans should protect at home and aboard, against radical Islamic terrorism, in order to protect the lives and liberties of the American people.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Agree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Drugs coming into America, across our southern border and sex trafficking are out of control. Yes the southern border needs to be secured.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Legal immigration should be allowed within a system that protects American families, American citizens and legal immigrants.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

John Adams said it best, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, saved by the grace of God. I believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, fully human and fully divine, and that through my belief in Jesus and following in His teachings that I will inherit eternal life. My belief that Jesus died on the cross for me and my sin so that I can have ever lasting life.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Return to voting at a voter booth with presenting identification and only allowing for absentee ballots for a select few.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No it shouldn't be nor does it have to be. This is a challenging question, in the fact that there is definitely a history of inequality but I truly feel that America stands for freedom. Every oppressed group has found freedom in this country...as it should be. Our founding fathers had the foresight for this, "that all men are created equal." We must allow for this statement to ring true and not allow race to divide Americans.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. I want to protect our environment through education and sensible solutions but there are too many regulations that cost too many jobs and hurt the American economy. Sensible solutions must include the entity that would be affected. For example, it makes sense to recycle but there should be no restrictions or fines on the use of plastic bottles, or it makes sense to conserve water but there should be no fines on water usage.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

I believe America should be energy independent.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect the rights of the people.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am a conservative with a humanitarian heart.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKKEllevbDaIVQZME77OQ8w; https://www.kxly.com/spokane-educator-explains-why-she-refused-to-wear-a-mask-at-finch-elementary/;

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I support our first responders--to include medical and fire--and our law enforcement officers. Violence and property crime are out of control. As your next State Representative, I will work hard to Refund the Police. Public Safety also means defending your Constitutional rights to self-defense. I will oppose any effort to restrict your rights to defend your property and your families. I have been a teacher for almost two decades, I am passionate about my students’ well-being. The public education system is failing our students when it comes to the fundamentals of math, science, reading, writing and history. I will demand curriculum transparency and give students the tools they need to become productive members of society. Worse yet, the state does not see parents as the primary influencer in their child’s life. I will establish policy that affirms the parent’s role. I believe in choice; parent choice and school choice.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

No redirecting of funds but these entities need to work together. Each of these entities has a purpose to support our community.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I think current age requirements are adequate, as well as the waiting period for purchase of some fire arms. I agree with current restrictions on convicted felons to own guns, in addition to higher sentences for crimes committed with a gun.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
