QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Not for an Abortion procedure where there is no police report for rape or incest within the first ten weeks of pregnancy. I think they should receive funding for basic Well Women checks, cancer treatment, and oral contraception that stops ovulation and condemns. Presently abortion is a moot point in Colorado for a US House Representative candidate because this is deferred to the State's House.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
People pass in their own time. Nothing on God's green earth will stop that. In a time of duress terminally ill should stay ahead of pain management and under a doctor's supervision. Families, neighbors, and communities should treasure these individuals as role models until it is their natural time to pass away. This is not a decision a US House of Representatives for Colorado would make and a moot point because of the will of the Colorado voters.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest with a police report, and when the mother will lose her life due to the pregnancy. Abortion is a moot point in Colorado at the US House level because this is deferred to the State House.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The market should control for economic gaps. The wealthy should not take advantage of others, as we see in warnings with Big Tech and Techno slaves or the wealthy buying all of the housing stock. Foreign entities/individuals should be stopped from buying excessive real estate as we see them do in developing countries.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
It is not ethical or legal to leave future generations with trillions of dollars in debt.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
No one should be taxed above 25%, and low-middle income and below should pay no more than 10%. Those who excessively buy real property should be taxed 2.5 times the property tax for owning more than three properties as should foreign investment property owners.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Agree
Assault on Religious Freedom is similar to those who experience political incarceration.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Small businesses should have the right to refuse business relationships if they feel harassed or unsafe by circumstances. However, they should have collaborated with other businesses in the community to whom they could refer clients in a dignified and discreet manner as not to have the appearance of a hostile environment.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
It is okay for church and state to remain separate. People's Religions are diverse and not in agreement with practice; others are not religious. Churches should not have to pay taxes to the state, and the state should make an exception to provide tax dollars to private schools that also have religion as part of their curriculum. The tax dollar should follow the student not the institution.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
HIPPA should be observed and waivers accepted. School is the only place that vaccines should be required without a waiver and experimental vaccines should not even require a waiver it should be the parents choice.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Set limits.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Border crossings are dangerous for all.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who are here for gainful employment and their support group.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Agree

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christianity. specifically Catholicism.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
In-person voting with paper hand-counted ballots. Absentee ballots for extenuating circumstances like armed service abroad, elderly who wish to vote but no longer drive, and sick and disabled.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Disagree
Dispossessed land should be returned as long as it is not taking land away from current homeowners. Proposed lots would be 6000 sq feet on Public lands in the Middle to high range mountain ranges. It is where land was originally confiscated from indigenous people. However, across the board, reparations based on race are discriminatory,
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism and supremacy are a threat, as is hate. All races experience it; Black, Yellow, and White. We need to realize that it is not about how different we are but how much we are all the same.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Disagree
It seems safe, but there is a risk of earthquakes and poisoning the water, which we cannot afford. At the most, there are 100 years of fossil fuel. Another estimate is that it will only be 40 years.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. We need to support sensible solutions like carbon capture.
