RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

I agree in principle however, I honestly don't know enough about this topic. I abhor all abortions as I believe that it violates the most basic human right-that is a right to live. That said, I recognize that abortion is still legal, and as such, abortions done by 'the abortion pill' should meet essential safety standards.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I deeply value life. It is the first among all rights.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

What programs would help to reduce ‘unwanted’ pregnancies? This would be a focal point to reduce abortions.

I would vote to reduce federal spending and cut waste wherever it is found.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

We don't have "Healthcare" in this country right now; we have "Sick-care" instead. At every increase of government intervention into "healthcare" the cost has increased, and true wellbeing and the health of the American citizen has diminished.


NATIONAL SECURITY

Our relationship with all nations and peoples should be based on mutual respect and adherence to the principles we hold dear. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

A diminishing value of patriotism, and of the love for our country, coupled with the use of the Armed Forces in general as a social justice experiment.


IMMIGRATION

We must do what is necessary to have secure borders. I value LEGAL immigration, not those whose first act is to break our laws by entering illegally.

We should allow those who desire to immigrate to the United States if: they they love the freedoms and principles of our republic, they desire to work hard to achieve the American dream, and they bear true faith and allegiance to our nation-with the obvious need to limit overall numbers to a manageable level.


EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

No one system of "Education" is right for every family. Parents have the right to do what they feel is best to facilitate a quality education for their children.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The elimination of the US Department of Education would be a primary focus of my time in Congress. There is NO justifiable rationale for this cabinet level department to continue to exist. It is a failed experiment that was started in 1980 and wasted billions of taxpayer dollars all while every metric of education has declined.

I value the protection of rights. The 2nd Amendment is non-negotiable. The People are the repository of this Right. I am a strong proponent of the Un-infringeable nature of the Second Amendment. It is the essential bulwark with which all our other rights are guaranteed. The Second Amendment is the necessary prophylactic that prevents unwanted government tyranny.
