15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Man has the propensity to dominate and control. When man has power he typically desires more power which can and often does breed corruption. Our forefathers thus created three branches to over see the other and maintain a balance in power thus eliminating one person or one branch monopolizing and abusing power.

16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

1) Military and Veterans: My family extends 4 generations of military service. It took 30 years for my brother to obtain 100% after being paralyzed during a military maneuver. My son is still suffering stomach problems after being home since 2006.I listened to VA psychiatrist lie to Sen. Murray during a Senate hearing on why PTSD is diagnosed differently in the civilian sector versus the military. After volunteering 2500 hours with our soldiers at Madigan in the Intensive Outpatient Program in less than 13 months and telling Congress about the closure of the program which sparked a Congressional hearing. After a year with more lies, I have to make sure our soldiers, veterans, and families are taken care of. 2)I love seniors as I was raised by my father and grandmother after my mother died of cancer. Social Security is not negotiable. It was paid for and is due. 3)Education/jobs-without it one can not have food, clothing and shelter or have the means to take care of a family.

17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Yes. What the person having the abortion feels. I do not believe in abortions but I have the choice. god gave us free will and who are we to take that away. Yes, it is murder and murder is a sin, so is a little white lie or accidently taking someone's pen. It is still a lie and still stealing. God told us not to judge and he gave us free will. this question is judging and removing free will that individual will have to answer to self and to God. I do not believe it is a legal issue but a moral and value issue that we have no place in.

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, voters; Supreme Court and Congress are equal.

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created the earth and all things in it. I believe in the bible from genesis to Revelations.
