15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

“Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely” Human nature is flawed and it tends to be sinful so is it why our Founders established system of checks, balances and separations of powers and functions of government in our Constitution to protect us from abuses by our leaders. Lobbyists representing special interests and big donors in WDC have too much power and influence over our affairs and this situation should be addressed. Implementing term-limits would curb the misuse of power.

16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

Illegal immigration will be one of the biggest challenges that we are going to face in the next few years. Both parties like the status quo are united in keeping the current system in place because they are profiting from it. Unfortunately, there are huge costs associated with the current system and the middle class and the working people have to cover the costs. The current migrant children crisis perfectly illustrates the issue and lack of proper response and executing existing laws. We need to start protecting our borders, language and culture if we want to preserve this country for our future generations.. We need to restore fiscal sanity to our budgets and work on lowering our national debt. The debt has doubled over the past six years and one way to deal with it will be to pass balanced budget amendment. Our unemployment levels have remained high, the remedy should be empowering free market enterprise including small business and agriculture, where many jobs are generated.

17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Personally, morally and ethically, I oppose abortion laws but as a matter of public policy, I need to support the laws under the current circumstances. Still, we should be against late term abortions and limit the ability to perform abortions to let’s say 12 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion is a personal tragedy to an expecting mother and leads to death of a fetus. It is nothing to celebrate about. We have resources to prevent women, especially teenage women, from unwanted pregnancies and we need to do everything in our powers to achieve so. We need to educate the public and fight sexual child abuse, child pornography, incest, prostitution, and other promiscuous behaviors.

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God,Constitution,Voters,Congress and Supreme Court.

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Catholic and I believe in conducting productive, modest and peaceful life. I also believe in helping less fortunate in their journey through life. I believe in integrity, honor and justice. God has given us a wonderful gift in this country and our obligation is to preserve it for our future generations intact. We also need to do all in our powers to use their country’s resources adequately, protect integrity of this country, and do it accordingly to our Judo-Christian values. We need to restore principles of limited government, free enterprise, liberties, freedoms, and justice for all.
