Absolutely. The singular cause of Inflation - according to Dr. Milton Friedman - is excessive government spending (which includes printing more money - M1 - the supply of money). Just like every household - government must learn to live within its means, pay off its debts and scale back its spending. Loopholes should be addressed; Simplify, streamline. Examine a graduated, flat-rate tax structure. (Modifying Senator Cruz’s proposal) The complexity of the current Tax Code simply allows inequities and waste. Cut the bureaucracy and streamline the taxing process. Currently, there is an 88+% taxpayer compliance rate in our country – the highest in the free world. Taxpayers are willing to pay a fair tax, and a Flat-Rate structure is by far the fairest and simplest. It could be graduated, but the current system is far too complex, inefficient, and cumbersome – though it is helpful to Lawyers and Accountants, and Politicians. The “Graduated” aspect could allow for a “Premium” on higher income earners to be dedicated to retiring the National Debt. Qualified Immunity is a necessary protection for all police officers today. I will support and endorse such legislation on a national level if elected to Congress. That would not make sense if a vehicle manufacturer was sued for the mishandling of their vehicle by a motorist. People are responsible for their actions. Exception: if there is a defect in a device, including a weapon/gun that brings harm to a person. This would not be gun violence, but an accident or tragedy covered under proper Liability Laws. Voter ID and Valid Verified Identification are central to a free and fair election. They are reasonable and prudent and widely supported by the vast majority (80+%) of the public. People should be allowed to vote after showing proper ID. Measures to provide an exemption or PROVISIONAL BALLOT can always be provided in the event some extenuating circumstance arises. The racism of low expectations should not stop implementing Voter ID requirements.

Voter ID and Verified ID should be mandatory. Mail-in balloting should be limited and revised. In-person voting is the best and safest form of voting. Voting should be a National Holiday to accommodate same-day, in-person voting. Technology exists to simplify and guarantee error-free, honest elections – but this requires leadership and integrity from politicians. Ballot harvesting should be a crime – severely punished. Severe penalties for ANY voter fraud should be in place and strictly enforced! This would include forfeiture of the right to vote in the future for any violator. Done safely and wisely, this is an efficient and effective means of extracting oil and natural gas from the earth. The practice has existed for some time and has been perfected over the years. Always guaranteeing the safety and purity of our water supply and the environment is vital, but this need not conflict with the careful extraction of oil and minerals from the ground.

A, For the most part, the U.S. observes more Environmentally safe measures than almost any country in the world. We bear the load, while many countries are exempt. A balancing of interests is needed. We can do better at maintaining a good economy AND being good stewards of the environment. We must set a good example and assist other countries in their efforts. As Christians, we know that we are to be stewards of all that God has provided – everything is subject to our "dominion". That imposes a tremendous responsibility upon us to act responsibly and wisely with every resource He has provided. We can feed the hungry and provide for others as good stewards. Environmentalists often go completely overboard and begin worshiping the Earth and Destroying Mankind. Our humanity and our mindset should be to bear our responsibility as stewards of the Earth with wisdom and grace, recognizing our duty to protect and sustain Life. We must always strike a balance in our efforts, protecting and defending human life whenever possible.
