What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Our state does an excellent job of balancing the budget and cutting wasteful spending. This year there is a surplus in the budget which most agree should be given back to the people in some fashion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. The people seem increasingly open to reform of the Medicaid and Medicare system and I believe a real free market in healthcare would open up cheaper and higher quality healthcare for everyone.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Most people are not racist and want good things for everyone in this country regardless of race. According to the government's own statistics, the biggest cause of violence in this country has nothing to do with White Supremacy. Black and White communities in this country have been devastated by drugs and lack of opportunity. That is the biggest threat to this country.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

We should be following the Constitution and protecting life, liberty, and property. I am a Christian who believes marriage, strong families, and property are the bedrock of civilization. The separation of Church and State was meant to protect the Church from government abuse, not prevent people from practicing their faith in the public square. On foreign policy, we need to be America First; we do not need to be sending our young men and women to die for the sake of globalism.
