QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
The starting point is that, Women’s health is a woman’s right to her own life. Women have the right to make their own health decisions. Additional considerations should be given to those whose lives are at risk, subject to family violence, incest, crimes, financial burden or hardship.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Disagree
We need to focus on the family and especially mother's and children and it is unfortunante that Texas Leads the nation in uninsured adults and children. We have the highest maternal mortality rate and this could be fixed quite easily by expanding Medicaid and receiving those federal funds.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
It should be easier to understand and all tax loopholes and potential tax shelters should be closed. Property taxes should be reduced.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Texas uses a two-year budget and therefore the legistlature must pass a balanced budget and prohibited from carrying a deficit into the next year. We could cut agency spending by 10-15%.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Neutral
We must protect public education and prevent the voucher vultures and charter school thiefs from defunding our public school system. We can allocate funds towards investments in public higher-education in our state.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
We need to focus on the founding of our country. No one should be discriminated based on their race, gender or sexual orientation
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
We need to focus on science and facts and ensure that we keep our community safe.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Healthcare is a human right and no one should be denied care for a lack of funds or politics. Healthcare in America is outrageous and we need to fix it. Texas leads the nation in un-insured and under-insured population. This lack of insurance increases healthcare costs for EVERYONE. There is a solution and I'm ready to vote for it.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Since 1827 Texas schools have required vaccinations and because of this requirement we have been able to eradicate many diseases such as polio, measles, whooping cough, smallpox and Tetanus. It is imperative that we continue to follow the guidelines of scientist and CDC.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The US needs to focus needs to focus on domestic terroism and the co-opted Republican party.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
We need to focus on the founding of our country and the separation of church and state.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Neutral
Texas has defunded our police, schools and our freedoms with this fake border crisis we need to focus on the people and community within our state and not this diversionary play. It was rated 0 out of 0 by all involved.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We need to provide a proper path to citizenship for our dreamers and ensure that everyone is provided equal access to citizenship.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Neutral
We need to focus on the founding of our country and the separation of church and state.

Yes Of course.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
