QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
My personal opinion is none. However, as a matter of law, should be decided by the state(s).
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Neutral
Religious liberty is the law. The court system needs to be adjusted to facilitate the exercise of Rights in a timely and inexpensive manner. Common Law courts.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Requiring that doesn't sound like a legitimate function of government.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The Judeo-Christian perspective and belief underpins Our knowledge of the truth - and what is good and proper. Accordingly, the state should be a reflection of that moral order that is required for informed, consequential self-governance.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
B) It is wise at times to dissuade and limit threats that if left unchecked, would surely involve us later at a much greater cost and loss of life.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
I don't think that is a policy that will promote peace in the region.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
The Chinese Communist Party are not our friends and should not be treated as such.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Continue policies that dissuade foreign countries from allowing the teaching of unreformed Islam.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Under no circumstances until they've regained the public trust. If a situation arises, they must allow due process and prove harm and lawful authority - or compensate the individuals who choose to refuse.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Doctors and patients are necessarily constrained with government involvement. Doctors need to be able to have their own practices, keep records in house and operate without undue fear of costly litigation. Increase competition and choice for the consumers. One size does not fit all.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Everyone should pay if there's an income tax. I would consider a low flat tax on all incomes including charities and incomes currently classified as non-taxable. Social Security and Medicare must be adequately funded or done away with.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Unfortunately, it is a necessary deterrent.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
It is not proper to thumb your nose at the Federal government when it has lawful jurisdiction. It's better to have the laws changed first.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who embrace, understand and are willing to defend this great experiment in self-governance. Those who have followed the legal process to enter the country.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely. Police officers need to know that.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
Many departments seem underfunded at this time. Mental health and community programs can be helpful, however.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I believe people should be able to own guns. How public safety is protected is a different matter.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Neutral
You can sue for whatever you want, but it would make sense to me if the suit got thrown out.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I want to preserve the truths, principles, freedom and goodness that this American government was designed to protect. The notion of equity as it is being applied, should be rejected outright. We should be an example to the world for what is good, true and just. A loyal ally.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I was briefly interviewed by Lars Larson on KVI 570 radio.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I stand for the truth in these trying times. I see efforts to, and government policies enacted based on fantasies. This is having a demoralizing effect on the citizenry. I see people being punished for not supporting lies and mistruths. You see this with covid mandates and transgender ideologies to name a few. Honest people are being conditioned and coerced to accept new truths and that the exercise of their rights will be fruitless. I will work with the sane republicans and democrats in Congress to increase the number of Common Law courts in the state and nation as they are a much better venue to respond to violations of rights, rather than violations of law. We will all need this as the overreach of government and international interests will persist for the near future. The children are counting on us to protect them, keep them free and ground them in the truth and the nature of this nation. That's my priority.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I'm not a big fan of protected classes.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
The institutions are fundamentally Judeo-Christian in nature, not racist.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in the Bible and Jesus Christ. That therein lies the truth and how we are to conduct ourselves and treat each other. That these values and truths led to the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment. That through the Provincial hand of God, the United States exists with the Constitution to protect Our Rights and the ability to exercise them. That we will be held accountable in the exercise of those rights so graciously given.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Neutral
States should be able to allow people to swear under penalty of perjury as to who a person is if they're lacking identification as an example. These matters are the concern of each state except in elections for president.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I'm running for a federal office so I think we should follow the Constitution. Where states have jurisdiction, my preference is for in person voting on a given day with allowance for absentee ballots when appropriate. We must maintain trust in the process and any change to facilitate that end, I would consider. Too much emphasis is placed on a potential voter rather than maintaining verifiable integrity in results, I fear.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The idea of reparations is neither just nor good.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. The word racism is so misused, it has become almost meaningless.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
The need for these energy sources and energy independence, barring any major environmental damage, make this a desirable process.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) We should be good stewards of the environment and reasonable protections are desirable. The efforts to fundamentally transform energy use and policy based on a man-made crisis theory are arrogant and upend the relationship of citizen to their government. I want this issue thoroughly debated publicly, as no one has heard the debate and it is known that data has been fudged. There are "experts" on both sides and the country deserves an honest airing. I don't trust experts. I will listen and decide policy based on my best judgement of the evidence.
