QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In the rare and tragic event that it is necessary to save the life of the mother.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
To gain my support, any change in the tax code must simplify filing and reduce the burden on productive citizens. Tax breaks available only to insiders are insult and injury to hard-working Americans. The complexity of the tax code is an outrage; the level of taxation is a threat to our families and our national prosperity.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The state must not give preference to one sect over another, but it is Constitutionally obliged to guarantee the free exercise of religion, not only in the home and chapel but in the public square. We must never forget that our foundational concepts of liberty and equality are rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition and that, in the words of John Adams, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Government should not have the authority to require the use of Covid 19 vaccines. Americans should be free to make this decision without government coercion. Denying employment due to vaccine status is job discrimination and needs to be outlawed.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Communist China steals our technology and jobs, poisons the environment, and profits from slave labor. We can’t play nice with these thugs. All they respect is strength, and we should be prepared to show it. China is on the march: they want to dominate us economically and militarily. Unless we wake up soon, they’re going to eat our lunch. I’ll do my part to make sure that doesn’t happen to our country.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The Reagan Doctrine of Peace through Strength brought us victory in the Cold War and security at home. I also like a saying coined by Teddy Roosevelt: ‘Speak softly and carry a big stick.’ Let us heed President Washington’s warning against foreign entanglements, while maintaining the overwhelming military superiority that makes attack counterproductive. Wherever else we confront it, the threat of terrorism must not cross American borders.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Legal immigration should give the best and brightest throughout the world, whose skills benefit our nation, the chance to contribute to American prosperity by becoming part of our society. Citizenship must be earned. Those who seek to live in our country must embrace our common language, English; know and honor our history and heroes; endorse our founding principles; and demonstrate the talent and preparation to thrive in the freest society in human history. The border must be sealed against illegal immigration, birthright citizenship, and chain migration.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that we are on this earth to improve ourselves as well as make a difference in the lives of others. We all have been loaned gifts from God that He expects us to utilize in order to advance the condition of mankind. Although we may never understand, I believe everything that happens, good or bad, occurs for a reason. Having faith in God is our only salvation. I believe in the spiritual world and that death is just another dimension of our existence. We are on a perpetual journey towards perfection…a state we will never reach. God is the only perfect being.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
First and foremost, we need to stop HR 1, which would federalize all elections in clear violation of the Constitution. Like all attempts to subvert our founding document, that would be a dangerous mistake. Instead, states should adopt sensible laws to ensure election security, as Republican legislators are working to do in Arizona. Voter I.D. requirements are simple common sense protections that are strongly supported by the American people. Such safeguards are essential; the fraud and confusion we saw in the last presidential election caused reasonable people to lose faith in our voting system. That faith in our elections must be restored, or we will lose our great republic.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. Racism is an ugly charge far too often leveled for political advantage and to end reasoned discussion. The liberal media focuses on racism to distract us from real-life problems that Democrat policies have created: inflation, rioting, lockdowns, criminal mayhem in our streets, shortages on our shelves, an economy poised to crash, a frightening war overseas. Worst of all, the cry of racism deceives the very people who have suffered it. Black misery is greatest in the very cities where Democrats have governed for decades. Poverty is not the worst of it; the destruction of life randomly by reckless criminals and individually by soul-annihilating addictions is the American tragedy of our day. White supremacist violence is detestable, unAmerican, and rare. This nation was dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, each human life of infinite value, as a gift of that Creator. We have never been nearer to the color-blind society that was the dream of Dr. King than we are now. What holds us back—even turns us back—is the divisive language and the violence of the so-called anti-racists, who insist on seeing every aspect of life in terms of the group we’re born into. If like me and all true conservatives you want to see people judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, unleash capitalism. No businessman can afford to hire by race instead of capability. The restoration of a true free market and the prosperity which would follow are the one step toward ending our urban tragedy; safe streets secured by strict and swift justice are another; parental control of education through school choice a third—all conservative Republican positions and the only hope for our cities and our fellow Americans who are being held down by failed liberal policies.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I am a conservative patriot who will uphold the adherence to the US Constitution

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Of all of my life’s accomplishments, none surpass my family. Little did my wife and I know that we were to raise two American heroes. Inspired by the events of 9/11, both of our sons left their comfortable jobs at CPA firms and were deployed at the same time to fight in the US Army’s Infantry in Afghanistan. On August 22, 2010 we received a late-night knock on the door informing us that our younger son was killed in action. As Gold Star parents, Diane and I have dedicated ourselves to supporting the military through various charities. We created a sanctuary memorial to honor our Nation’s Fallen (www.treesofhonor.com ). We also founded an organization to help Veterans with their entrepreneurial and career endeavors (www.4thebrave.org). I strongly believe our freedoms are not derived from politicians but from the men and women who donned the uniform to keep us safe. I have the ability to think outside the box in solving extremely complex issues. For example: As a private citizen, I was instrumental in conceiving and leading the initiative to change the Federal Trade Commission’s regulations to prohibit US companies from labeling their products “Made In USA” while being produced in communist China and other regions of the world. This change required corporations to re-shore their production domestically which created thousands of American jobs. I traveled to 45 countries and have seen the underbelly of this world. The best part of international travel is coming home and realizing that the greatest country on this planet is the United States of America. Coming from a lower-middle class upbringing, I paid my own way through college and worked to become a recognized global expert in my field (www.leanhorizons.com ). I solved extremely complex business problems consulting with top CEOs to make their company more competitive. In doing so, I saved thousands of American jobs from being confiscated by communist China. It’s time to face facts: The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is determined to dominate the world, militarily, economically, and educationally. They are on the march, and America must have the strength and resolve to resist them. I have seen the way the Chinese Communists operate close up. In a factory in Suzhou, I wandered from the guided, rose-colored glasses tour and found myself in a room where I saw workers stamping ‘Made in USA’ on a Vice Grip, an iconic American hand tool. In their quest for advantage, these Communists have no shame. China must be held to account for unleashing the greatest plague of our time. Covid-19 killed over six million people and crippled the world’s economy. Only by sweeping aside the Communist conspiracy of silence and understanding the true origin of this virus can we make sure it never happens again. Congress must demand answers--the American people have a right to know the truth about the CCP coverup. One of my first official acts as a member of the House of Representatives will be to file a bill banning the Chinese government and all Chinese Communist Party members from purchasing any land in the United States. Our factories, farms, offices, stores, and homes are all essential to our way of life, and none of it should be in the hands of foreign enemies. Like illegal immigration before the Trump campaign, the threat from Communist China is a major issue most politicians ignore. I too will sound the alarm as a candidate and follow through when I arrive in Washington. As Congressman from Arizona, passing tough, effective legislation to turn back the Chinese Communist threat will be my priority.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Restrictions on our Second Amendment rights do not keep us safe—just the opposite. Law-abiding citizens are not the problem. It’s violent criminals who will never follow the law who are responsible for gun violence. The dangerous growth of a lawless underclass results from the loss of faith, the breakdown of family, and the rejection of personal responsibility. Strict enforcement of existing law, with swift and sure justice done on the lawless, is the best way to ensure public safety.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
