Our founders knew that too much power given to one branch, or 1 person, would lead to corruption. In 1770, as the stage was being set for our revolution, British Prime Minister William Pitt said "Unlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it." The founders noted this wisdom and founded our country on checks and balances.

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to teach and council families with my faith-based personal finance course. I've been able to help more than 150 families get their finances in order by using basic financial principles and solutions. Also, I founded a successful multi-parish bible study and created two award winning youth organizations in my community.
