Christ Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I am a believer in Christ Jesus. A disciple of Christ Jesus. I believe the Bible is God’s Word. ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

My views on the purpose of Government are in strong relation to economist Milton Friedman whom I quote below. “Specifically, the government should to defend the nation from coercion from the outside and to defend individuals from coercion by others within the country. To maintain law, order, and policy to prevent coercion; preserve the peace and provide for national defense; adjudicate disputes and enforce contracts voluntarily entered into; define the meaning of property rights and provide the means for modifying them and the other “rules of the game”; provide a monetary framework; foster competitive markets and overcome technical monopolies; and address neighborhood effects which are actions affecting others (e.g., pollution) where it is not feasible to charge or reward them.”

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

n/a at this time.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My legislative priorities mainly center around protecting and conserving religious, medical, & economic freedom.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I agree with the already checks in place. Mental illness and age is a common denominator when it comes to mass shootings. I believe a documented history/ track record of mental illness clearly documented especially within teenage years should be addressed for the selling of firearms within a specific age group. I believe law abiding citizens should have the right to purchase any legal firearm they choose and walk out that same day with their legally purchased having cleared the standard and already practiced background checks.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
