QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In the case of ectopic cases only.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We need to look at ensuring that Oklahomans are not being burden with high taxes. I would like to take a look into reforming the structure of Oklahoma's tax code to ensure Oklahomans are not paying higher taxes than they need to be.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Oklahoma has in place the Legislative Office of Fiscal Transparency that I believe the legislature needs to continue utilizing to ensure that agencies are not wasting tax payers money. This entity looks into the spending of the different agencies and provides transparency to the citizens of this state. If we find wasteful spending I would like to look at ways to stop spending as much money on these different areas.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Government needs to stay out of telling businesses and individuals what to do.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
I believe the government should never close churches. This in my opinion violates our first amendment rights.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I believe that the government should not mandate vaccines.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
I believe we need to continue helping out our allies across the world to do this but I also believe more importantly we need to start investing more money and resources into protecting our own homeland to help with this threat.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I believe those individuals that are coming to the United States legally and who are going through the correct processes should be the ones who are allowed to immigrate. I want to ensure they go through the correct hoops.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
At the end of the day, parents/guardians are the only ones who really know what kind of education setting their child needs and should have the ability to send their children to whichever setting that is.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and have been a Christian for many years. I believe that Jesus is the true son of God and he was sent to die for our sins.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Oklahoma has one of the most secure elections in the nation. I want to make sure that any changes we make to it does not change that. I want to ensure that we continue protecting the integrity and safety of our elections. Oklahoma has laws on the books that require a photo id in order to vote. I want to make sure that this law continues being enforced.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I do not believe it as much as the media wants you to think it is.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
I believe the general purpose of government is to do the acts that citizens cannot do on a day to basis. Such as protecting our streets through law enforcement and firefighters to ensuring we are able to drive on workable roads and bridges. I believe the government has grown too much and needs to be reminded that they work for the people. "A government big enough to give you anything is also big enough to take anything from you"
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
N/A
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
During my time working for the Speaker of the House Charles McCall and Republican Leadership, I have helped the Speaker and appointees with appointments to various Oklahoma Boards and Commissions. Perhaps the most fulfilling part of my job is working alongside Republican Representatives and helping them pass meaningful conservative reforms that push back against federal overreach and the Biden administration. I have honed my expertise in the bill process, the budget process, and most importantly, building the coalitions needed to pass reform. I won’t miss a beat using those skills for Canadian County and Western Oklahoma County in the State Senate. I want to use these skills to best serve my community. I am dedicated to working with state and local leaders to bring resources and funds to our area to improve our infrastructure. I have been knocking doors for months now and at the end of the day I want to represent my district and their priorities not my own.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
We need to ensure we protect our men and women who are serving our communities on a day to day basis. My endorsement from the Fraternal Order of Police speaks to my passion and willingness to do just that.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
This is the time we should not be redirecting funds from police departments but need to be increasing the police departments funds.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I believe the system we have in place works. We need to start addressing the root cause of the problem. It is not a gun problem.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
