OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

The judicial experiment of Roe v. Wade should be overturned by either the court or congress. A right does not simply appear out of thin air as it did when the court decision was written. What would happen if someone destroyed a bald eagle egg in the presence of law enforcement?

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Agree

iVoterGuide Notes:

After the survey deadline the candidate informed iVoterGuide that they intended to answer this question disagree.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstances should abortion be allowed. "Thou shalt not kill" has no subparts or sub clauses. As terrible as cases of rape are, there are numerous families looking to adopt.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government has no business, duty or obligation to play Robin Hood. This is the United States of America, if you want more money get out and work for it.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Without taking into consideration unfunded liabilities, the national debt is somewhere upwards of 30 trillion dollars. There is no circumstances where it is even feasible to have this debt paid off, thus, the government should immediately cease foreign aid payments and focus only on domestic spending, which also needs to be substantially reduced. Payments and benefits, of any substance, to illegals should be immediately curtailed.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

If this question is referring to title 26, income tax code, there should be no federal income tax. Hard work should be rewarded.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty does not involve the infringement of other people's rights.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone. That is as clear cut as it gets.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

None

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should any employer, government entity or medical provider be allowed to require vaccinations.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms and Medicaid and medicare should be de-funded. The doctors in this country are currently unable to provide legitimate care due to medical billing. Furthermore, big pharmaceutical companies profits and kick backs further decrease the standard of care for all US citizens. Healthcare starts with personal responsibility, with things such as diet and exercise chiropractic and massage. Doctors need to decrease dependence on pills that have more side effects than what the original ailment is.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely. This is none of our business as a country.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The US should start to eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism by ceasing to meddle in foreign affairs, and start doing a better job vetting immigrants.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Persons fluent enough in the English language to communicate effectively in the country and only under strict circumstances. Immigrants should not want to harm or disrupt the United States and bring something of value to the United States, whether that is excellence in their field of study or work. Numerous countries across the world have very strict immigration laws, the US should be no different.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Gender identity is a mental health issue and should be treated as such. There are male and female humans and that is all there is. If someone chooses to be a deviant, they are welcome to do such at their own expense.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in Jesus Christ and attend Church regularly.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Voting machines, if electronic, should be of the highest security and unable to be tampered with. All voting machines should be manufactured in the US, by US companies with no servers outside the US. Illegal aliens should not receive any form of US identification, in so doing, will eliminate that aspect to illegal voting. Election integrity should be of the highest importance to everyone in the US! The only problem with photo identification is the State's dependence on providing a Social Security number on the application. Citizens should not be forced into that program as a prerequisite to exercise a fundamental right.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

How is this even a topic of conversation?

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat to domestic security and should not continue to be pushed by the government. One can not even get a job without being asked to identify what race you are. The government teaches racism in all of its funded educations, which also should cease immediately. We are all US citizens, all the same.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Oil and gas are cornerstones to modern society. Oil and gas is more efficient than electricity at heating and locomotion or vehicular transportation. I do not, however, support fracking using fresh water. Fracking should be using production water or salt water going back into the formation and not contaminating the limited supply of fresh water.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Neither a or b. We need to be good stewards of the land, both corporations and people. The problem lies with government abusing its authority and targeting specific industries on a whim. The government also is lenient on the enforcement of the same laws with other companies. Do I want us to take care of the earth, yes. Taking care of the earth is not about political aims and aspirations, meddling in certain economic sectors with subsidies, and penalizing the development of the country.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have not had in-depth media reports or interviews, yet.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Government reform of both the judicial and executive making decisions and taking actions outside their lawful authority. The judicial branch has lost it's independence and turned more into a mini-congress than an actual court. The executive is also overstepping it's authority with sanctions, putting boots on the ground in conflicts, thereby sidestepping Congressional authority. The executive has also lost all integrity with the enforcement of this countries laws. Its become nothing more than a political witch hunt and needs to be curtailed. Citizens rights to keep and bear arms have indeed become infringed, this process needs to be reversed. Government spying and data collection of its citizens has grown excessive and needs to be all but eliminated. The States have lost nearly all rights through federal policies, inconsistent with their authority. In one instance the federal government yields authority and in another instance, oversteps its authority depending upon public outcry, rather than Constitutional authority. The federal government controls the States by whimsical and excessive regulation in addition to funding. The elimination of both needs to be a priority. The federal government has become a behemoth of secrecy and prioritizes litigation over transparency. This is not only fiscally irresponsible, but also breeds discontent.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Neutral

If only the question was this simple. Individual officers should have qualified immunity, however the police department should not have the same benefits, lest policy dictate discrimination, etc.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Agree

Locally, nearly all police calls are regarding mental health issues and thus this is a no-brainer. Also, many police departments have excessive budgets, as is evidenced by excessive data collection devices, military vehicles and gear, etc. The United States would benefit from more funding to mental health and community programs.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The problem with any restrictions on gun ownership is that the government abuses its authority. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. The criminal justice system's lenience towards convicted violent offenders is the problem with gun ownership and public safety.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

There is no manufacturer liability in any other product range, it is discriminatory to firearms manufacturers to hold them accountable for someone else's actions.
