QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
If the mothers life is in danger, however I think abortion legislation should have parent bills that go together that strengthen the adoption and foster care system, as well as strengthening our sentences for rape.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Neutral
I do not want planned parenthood to be providing abortions unless the mothers health is at risk. I do know and understand that PP has other programs that help mothers and families, so I would be open into to give funds but with clear lines in the sand of what they can and cannot do with tax dollars, like with any other appropriated funds
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Government should not sanction murder. It also opens the door for older folks to become victims from people who want their benefits after dying.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I think here needs to be more brackets in the tax code. Lower taxes and close loopholes.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Looking into how much we pay admins at the public schools, I believe that bloated administrator costs is what is really cutting into teacher pay. That and corruption in government.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Frankly the government is already pseudo paying for it by backing up loans and look where that has gotten us. I believe the solution to the student debt crisis is to have universities not have a monopoly on the public school system and have an equal playing field between universities, trade schools and apprenticeships.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
If a person wanted to not make a custom gay wedding cake for a gay couple that is there right, the couple could go to another bakery or ask for the generic cake the owner had for every customer that did not have the sex on the design. If the couple for example asked for the generic cake that the owner provides for the general public the owner would have to make it.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never. unless they are under investigation and the government body investigating it got a warrant to disrupt service to search the premises
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
The health care system is not a capitalistic market, it is controlled by huge conglomerate called big pharma and insurance agencies. Let the free market decide like with Lasik eye surgery
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
If it has been tested vigorously and they have exemptions available. However if there was an airborne strand of the Small pox or Ebola I think the public will be quick to get vaccinated. The public knows how deadly these viruses are and I think we need to educate more and tell skeptical parents that the vaccines for infants are safe.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Collect more data on terrorists and less on American citizens, Use the might of the US military's to snuff out the leaders of these groups and sanction governments that sponsor them.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
I do not know much about the Israeli Palestinian conflict to give an answer I am comfortable with. I will do more research and look into it more.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Yes it is unfair for the non-citizens from around the world trying to come here legally.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone that does it the right way. We cannot have people pouring into our country unchecked.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Agree
I only support school choice for public school setting where you can apply to get into a school, a kids education in a public school should not be determined by a zip code. I do not believe that tax dollars should go to private schools. Home schooling is great too.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Neutral
I just break it down to the Ten Commandments, I do not feel comfortable putting religion into governments moral values.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
that opens up a can of worms of people identifying as a
iVoterGuide Notes:
After evaluations occurred, the candidate expressed that his preferred response to this question should be “Strongly Disagree- That opens up a can of worms of people identifying as anything they want and that just opens up a can of worms".
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Disagree
Government should be out of the marriage business.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
If this country is racist then
iVoterGuide Notes:
After evaluations occurred, the candidate expressed that his preferred response to this question should be “Strongly Disagree - The country is not racist. If this country is so racist then who do people call Larry Elder (a black man) “blackface of white supremacy” it just doesn’t make any sense".
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, go to a non denominational church. I believe that if you are an adult and you are doing the following things: Paying your taxes, Not hurting anyone, not flaunting it in my face, leaving the kids out of it and not breaking any laws... I do not care what you do.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
You cannot go through TSA without an ID, rent an apartment, rent a car, apply for a loan, open a bank account, buy alcohol, buy tobacco, buy marijuana, visit someone in a hospital. The point is, an ID is used for everything the idea we do not need an ID to vote is kind of a weird argument.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would get rid of mass mail in voting, I think everyone has a right to vote. But I think in a healthy republic the citizens have to actively seek out and have some skin in the game. By skin in the game I mean actively going to the polls, requesting an absentee ballot. I think people need to cherish their right to vote and in order to cherish it they have to work just a little bit to be able to do so. I am not an advocate for a poll tax, just asking for the citizens to cherish their right to vote by simply waking up put their feet on the ground and going to the polls or request an absentee ballot.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes it is, we are teaching our kids that because you are a certain color they are responsible for their friends situation in life.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
reparations were already given out in affirmative action. Several scholars including on that appeared on CNN agree with this sentiment as well, because of Jim Crow the black community needed a jump start and affirmative action was the only way to do it. I think we should ween off of affirmative action however because I think it has already done what it was accomplished to do.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
I mean you are seeing very high record breaking gas prices and record breaking inflation. Fossil fuels literally fuel the economy. Joe Biden is moving too fast with his environmental agenda and we simply do not have the technology to make up for fossil fuels yet.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Yes if it is safe and regulated slightly, inspecting the land and the makeup of the soil ect
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
General purpose of the state legislature which is what I am running for. Is to protect the states rights from an overreaching federal government. whether it be Biden's or Trump's.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I am 70 percent conservative 30 percent libertarian
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
To ban the Chinese communist party from buying farm land in Oklahoma, raising teacher pay not by raising taxes but look into where the education dollars are going to and to help rural areas by redrawing and mapping out broad band routes because the technology has changed so much over the years.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Neutral
If they lose their qualified immunity then it has to be under circumstances of blatant misconduct.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Most shooting happen in gun free zones. there are a lot of bad people who can get a gun on the black market regardless of gun restrictions we cannot make it harder for a law abiding citizens to get one.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
now we cannot do that, it opens up the door for companies getting sued left and right for no reason.
