RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I'm 100% against abortion with the exception of a life-threatening emergencies. The American taxpayer should never have to provide money for any abortion clinics. what these politicians don't understand or care about is that is the people's money, not theirs to spend how they see fit.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Agree
Only those with terminal illness, their rights should and will be respected.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only life-threatening emergencies, incest or rape.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Agree
How much money is enough? 99% of the American citizens live on a budget. Yes, we are a free-market society and I still believe you can make your life whatever you want in America. The wealthy have a disconnect (especially those in Washington) with the American people. We can't take people's money away that they made to give it to someone else. Every American citizen is protected by the US Constitution and that includes the wealthy same as it does for the other 99% of us.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
We need to shut a lot of these programs down that are pet projects of politicians and stop wasting taxpayer money. Government is way too big; it needs to be shrunk back down, stop Government overreach in every aspect of our lives. Stop sending taxpayer money overseas, close down our border, cut out all the "pork" spending, do away with ear marks and quit ripping of the taxpayers.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We need to do away with loopholes in the tax code that lets wealthy people pay little to no taxes. I know that if taxes go up on the wealthy, they just pass it along to consumers. We need to figure out a responsible way to make sure the wealthy pay their share without hurting or raising the cost of living on Americans.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs. This has been at the core of our country and now politicians are trying to lock us down especially when it comes to religion, Churches, Mosk, Synagogue and anyplace people worship was affected by the coronavirus shutdown (government overreach). We will always turn to God and ask for his help in every aspect of our lives. Our 1st amendment rights will never be taken away and I will fight for our constitution with every breath I have.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
We live in a free-market society and the Government has no right or authority to tell private companies, private citizens that they have to go against their moral or ethical beliefs.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
I am a firm believer in the first amendment to our constitution. The government has no authority to tell anyone what religion they should practice. Having said that, I also believe when we took prayer out of every aspect of our lives (Government especially) we set ourselves up for failure.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
We live in a free society, there is no circumstance that anyone, be the government, school or employer. You and your doctor know your medical history and what's best for you and that information is private.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B is what I'm more closely aligned with. We need a universal healthcare insurance, but it should never be forced on anyone. We should have the option of whatever health insurance we deem necessary for ourselves. Our government funded healthcare should only be accessed by American citizens. Taxpayers' money is spent on these programs, it should only be allowed access by those who worked all their lives, paid taxes, yes, I'm referring to American citizens, not just given to anyone who comes to our country. Medication and hospital prices are soaring and it's having a terrible impact on everyone, especially the elderly.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C is what I identify with the most especially now that our southern border is left wide open. We need to start taking care of Americans first. We have homeless (a lot are Veterans) living on the street, crime rate soring, inflation and taxes that are killing us and i could go on and on. It's time we focus our attention back on We the people instead of putting our country on the back burner. Having said that, if freedom is threatened and it directly affects the United States, we should and will defend our freedoms and I will defend those freedoms with my last breath.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Disagree
We should never try to force other countries to change their policies unless it directly has an impact on the U.S. or its citizens.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
China is probably one of the only few countries that really has an impact on America. We have become too dependent on their exports and cheap prices. All this comes at a price. The CCP has been a growing threat to the U.S. and has made statements how they want to overtake the U.S and be the world superpower. China poses the most risk to our way of life.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Secure our borders for one, stop letting everyone in, especially to the ones that hate American/Americans. Having been in Iraq where terrorism was an everyday occurrence, we won hearts and minds. We need our police (federal and local) to stay vigilant and investigate those suspected of terrorism.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
The wall needs to be finished, border patrol to be able to do their jobs and be supported by the government and shut down the southern border. President Trump had the southern border secured but this administration failed to do its duty and protect American citizens.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer money should never be used or given to public or private entities especially when it comes to Immigration. our immigration laws are on the books. if you don't like the law you don't choose to ignore it. If you want to be an American citizen, then immigrate legally. When you decide to come here illegally, no federal or state funds should ever be used to help break the law.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I believe that anyone can immigrate to the US, but it will be done thru the ports of entry and legally. when we go thru the ports of entry the person is vetted and background is substantiated then they become productive American citizens.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
I don't agree with CRT, CRT hurts all children and tries to destroy the fabric of family in America.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
God is my savor, thru him i really can do all things, God has allowed me so much in this life and he has a plan for me.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Everyone should have to show photo ID when voting. We have to show ID for almost everything else we do, and integrity of elections would be more secure.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would fight for states' rights. The federal Government shouldn't be able to make laws for elections the States have to abide by.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
No reparations should be given. Our history isn't pretty, but the citizens today had nothing to do with what happened over 150 years ago.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, I have been in law enforcement most of my adult life. I have never seen anything of the racism the left keeps saying the United States has become. If we are systemic racist, why did a black man get elected as the President of the United States twice.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
I would like to use alternative methods but if it brings the United States back to energy independence then we need to use safe but effective means of achieving that goal.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A, stricter environmental laws and regulations cost to many jobs and hurt the economy.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I believe government needs to be shrunk down, shut a bunch of the programs down that sends taxpayer money overseas, stop all the wasteful spending on ear marks. Once we cut a bunch of programs out the federal government can quit taking so much of the peoples hard earned money.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I have been in several videos broadcast from candidate forums across my District. There are several videos of me online on different news agencies.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
NO
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I would like to work on getting the big money out of politics. stop the lobbyist, special interest groups and billionaires from buying politicians. we need to start having term limits on every politician and instead of sending career politicians to Washington, we need to start sending citizen legislatures. Some of my main priorities would be to get the southern border under control, inflation under control, and get our energy independence back then we can start working on all the other problems facing our Nation right now.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
If an officer is following department policy and procedures, yes, they should have personally immunity from prosecution.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
When you take money away from Police Departments you are costing more police jobs which in turn is causing crime rate to skyrocket. In most cities across the country, they want more police, not fewer.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
If you're a law-abiding citizen, then I don't believe there should be any restrictions.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
The firearm didn't kill or injure the person. That would be equivalent to letting car manufactures get sued for every wreck that happens.
