ENDORSEMENTS
REPORTED BY CANDIDATE (1)
I am not seeking partisan or organizational endorsements. The system, and its mission and needs—not the interests of any other party, are what will inform my approach to governance and policymaking. I believe in the proposals outlined in the January 2020 State Policy Brief: Merit Selection of Public College and University Board Members. The report, published by the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB), emphasizes the importance of merit over politics in board governance. I am asking people to vote for me based on my knowledge and experience in higher education, not political affiliation or organizational endorsements.
