QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I wholeheartedly agree. There is just no room for receiving corrupt blood money in the name that it provides funds for anything! I strongly urged Legislators in the last session, SB2030, to stop partnering with Planned Parenthood for grant funding in the University.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
The authority to end the number of days for anyone's life was never delegated to man! To do such a thing is assisted murder even if it is "legalized". There is a moral law that supersedes the laws of man.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I would like to see changes made to our property taxes, the costs are becoming an increasing heavy load. Homeowners should be able to own their homes without the fear of losing it over taxes. People are also incentivized to improve their homes without being penalized with a higher property taxes. I think there could be an increase in excise tax, sales tax, vehicle tax, and even consumption tax to balance out reducing property taxes or even eliminating them.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Reduce the unnecessary special interest projects that waste money.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
It is already not awesome that education is tax payer funded. This needs to be addressed at state levels.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
"Required" is an exclusive statement. I believe there are reasons a person or business should have a right to refuse a service if it morally or religiously violates their conscience to provide it. Although, I also think there are some cases an individual or a business doesn't necessarily need to reject providing a service for something they don't approve of in their moral and religious convictions, but that is for an individual and business to decide as a matter of conscience before God.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
NONE. They should have no authority to close an assembly.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C. I believe we need provision for our elderly who are now at a place in life where this may be their only affordable option. and we need provision for families who show they are in need of medical assistance; However, I think Medicaid needs to not operate like a welfare system, but help working families exhibiting real need.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. It needs to be up to an individual if they believe they want to put that into their body.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We ought to have them vow allegiance to the United State for which we stand! We need to not allow them to overtake and establish sovereignty over any of our communities! We need to educate a very naïve practice being performed in colleges to teach English to Muslim's wanting to learn English and bring their religion here. We are giving them everything they need to eventually use against us.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Israeli West Bank barrier is a separation Israel sees necessary to secure their borders. Just as we in America should see illegal immigration as a threat, Israel sees the Palestinians as a threat for trouble and terrorism. There are real threats to a national unity without it being about equality.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need to thoroughly secure our borders everywhere!
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who are willing to legally go through the process to be an American citizen. Potentially they should be under a probation period and be required to periodically prove that they working citizens who are agreeing that they uphold and respect American Allegiance.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
We have an educational disaster in our Nation and school choice is absolutely critical. Vouchers will be great if it can be done while keeping curriculum free from government control and regulation. That also meaning the government would not manipulate states into voluntarily submitting to government control, as happened in Common Core.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
100% and I will fight to uphold that with all my God given ability!
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
We need to be honest with people and hold them accountable to the fact that gender is a biological fact that was never left to be decided by feelings. Facts are facts regardless of feelings and outside influence. We are on a slippery slope making unnatural "protected Class" accommodations!
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
We can legislate sin into law; However, it will never appease the fact it is wrong. Marriage is a sacred union to be celebrated by a man and a woman for the additional purpose of also bringing forth children. The government and states have made law contrary to the foundations God has established, it's wrong even if everyone and law support it.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
This is just part of the narrative to destroy the foundation of our Nation and those that founded it. I will not tolerate our history being rewritten with a false narrative.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that there is foundational truth of right and wrong, and a moral way to govern life. I value life, liberty, justice, and Biblical morality. A religious foundation under God is what is good for humanity even if it offends others. I do not think that degrading morals, values, and principles is progressivism, but rather destructive. As a leader I will be judged more critically for my positions of authority, therefore I have a deep level of respect for positions of authority because I know to whom I ultimately give an account.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
It makes sense to confirm a name with a photo of oneself.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would make it an absolutely necessity to have a government issued photo ID to vote. Voters should be registered in a way that on voting day their name and ID are only able to be recognized one time for one vote in one location. I think people should be registered in advance, or provide proof of having moved to a new residence before they can vote.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
It need not be! Racism is being used as a weapon of manipulation by a progressive movement that wants to weaken and divide America. If we allow a fear of an existence of racism to develop, the authority to stop crime and harmful activity will be compromised.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
I think this has done nothing but harm the future generations of whom reparations have been given! For instance Native Americans, they have created a people group dependent on the government for their existence, yet as a whole they are not doing well under that method.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. I think we should take care of our environment, but not by stricter laws and regulations. but by allowing the market to drive us toward better environmental stability.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
We can be energy independent which makes us less dependent and makes us stronger when dealing with other nations.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The government was to be put into power by the people, to help govern the country for order, safety, justice, and the general well being of all by preserving law and order.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I am new to politics, I do not have a lot of information other than what is published on our District 3 website, conversations had at district meetings, and any mailers and billboards that have gone public.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am a leader willing to be the change in time of need! My legislative priorities are to advocate legislation and laws from a strong conservative stance that will benefit our families, businesses, nation, and future. I will be a voice that will stand for life from conception to natural death. I stand for values that reject moral relativism and a revisionist theory to our nations history. I will stand to defend parental rights in education and keep the government from progressing its social engineering plan they claim is curriculum, it's nothing but a destructive agenda. I believe our children, and country, do not belong to the government, and should not be controlled by the government powers. America belongs to the people, we the people!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
Our police need the authority to do their job of protecting citizens without fear and repercussions that a criminal can deflect the spotlight on their crime and instead turn the scenario around to criminalization the police!
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
I think we could still strengthen the others without taking anything away from police departments.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
To protect public safety we must work to keep government from having authority to restrict or control gun ownership.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
nonsense.
