QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Agree
What possible good can be associated with children interacting with an entity whose derived purpose was to prevent their existence?
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
The right of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness should not be infringed by local, state or federal governments, nor nonprofit entities that are funded in whole or partly by our tax dollars.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.
Strongly Disagree
If anyone should be lobbying the state legislature as it pertains to schools, it should be the affected parents who desire the changes. Anything the school board would do to lobby the state legislature would be considered self serving, so in my opinion, the only lobbying the school board should be allowed to do, is lobbying the parents as to the changes they feel would be most beneficial to the students, and let the parents determine how important it should be for their legislature to act.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I believe the government was designed to work at the direction of the governed. I believe Pre-K is becoming more relevant as a result of multiple income families having to work and should be utilized to give children a head start into the Elementary process, not as a day care. I also believe that college in part or as a whole could be introduced to children effectively at a much younger age than has been practiced, and that as long as the child is considered a minor and under the care of their parents/guardians, we should allow them the ability to explore as many educational opportunities as we can make available to them, after successfully proving competence in elementary subjects, whether that be college or vocational training, the parents and student can decide where their education takes them.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Agree
Currently, there is no restrictions to STUDENTS speaking freely about matters of conscience and faith, in or out of the classroom, or setting up groups within their respective schools, the only entity that is restricted on teaching or talking about such things from what I've read in the statutes, is the educators.
School districts should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
Discrimination is a violation of the U.S. constitution, public schools are an entity of the state government and as such should not be able to violate the U.S. constitution.
Students should not be allowed to pray in school.
Strongly Disagree
Why would a school board or legislature violate the rights of a student to pray?
EDUCATION
What is the function of the local school board?
To ensure and facilitate that the will of the state legislature, as it pertains to public schooling, is enacted equally and efficiently throughout the school district.
Who should have the authority to set curriculum and determine resources used in those curricula?
The local school boards should have that authority as long as it's within the guidelines set by the legislature, they are the elected representatives of the public, and should be held to account for such standards.
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
Never, the parents have the greatest vested interest in what is conducted on campuses while their children are attending those campuses, the purpose of the school board meetings is to ensure transparency to the public, when and what decisions are being made about the school district. The opinion of parents, of the students affected, should be a crucial factor in determining what methods are utilized by the district.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Political Activism, Personal Finances, Gender Identity, Physical Fitness, American History, Critical Race Theory, Language Arts, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Sexuality, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning
Language Arts - Foreign languages could be an associated curriculum for advanced students Mathematics - personal finance could be a curriculum contained in mathematics History - American history should definitely be a curriculum contained in this course, but even when learning American History, you have to utilize other historical references to tell the story properly. Vocational Learning - at the discretion of the student/parent, and only after showing significant proficiency in the top 3 previously mentioned subjects.
American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.
Agree
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Neutral
I believe those curricula are no longer necessary in public education since the inception of the internet and should be removed unless there's college credit associated with it, and if the student is under the age of 18, should only be taught with parental consent.
The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.
Agree
An educated public is essential in the development of a country, morally, ethically, and fiscally. Aside from the rights guaranteed by our creators that are recognized in our constitution, I can't think of any purpose greater to a local government or economy than ensuring that each generation is smarter than the previous and is continually pulling from the collective knowledge passed down by their ancestors.
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Disagree
I believe curricula such as the ones mentioned are in direct violation of NRS 388.150 I believe the public should be made aware of how divisive the subject has been since the inception of the country, how the founders purposely created pathways to rid the country of slavery despite having to accept its presence in the beginning, and how that racial hate has filtered down through the generations and has been aimed at multiple demographics, including immigrants and the children of immigrants.
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Agree
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I value life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, uninhibited by the bureaucracies of local governments or the agendas of people looking to divide our children on any level.
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
I'm not a biologist, but I'm fairly confident we can start distinguishing the differences in the population by which chromosomes they carry if gender becomes too divisive of a subject for people to wrap their heads around.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents, should they choose to do so, or a biology/anatomy course should definitely be able to start teaching the foundation of the conversation once the students have mastered the subjects needed to progress past an elementary level of education, wherever that marker becomes apparent. Different students can handle different subjects at different ages, but at no point should that subject become a required course for elementary students, it takes too much focus off the curricula that will help them excel in the future.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- Physical and emotional health outcomes; contraceptive methods; consent; abstinence; sexual orientation and gender identity; human anatomy/the reproductive system; abortion methods and side effects; stages of pregnancy and fetal development; sex acts and pleasures of sex

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Neutral
I agree "morality" is essential for limited government, and that Judeo-Christian values were in large part the basis for the founder's development of the framework of our government, all of which can be proven. However, Judeo-Christians weren't the only religion(s) to have established morals and passed their ideologies onto the public, nor was any framework within their respective institutions the sole influence in the framework of the US government during its inception.
No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.
Strongly Agree
The parent/guardian, is solely responsible for the decisions made on behalf of a child in their care, unless/until deemed unable or unfit to make such decisions by a judge, they should never be left in the dark about the mental or physical health of a child they are responsible for.
No school official should be involved in the sexual transitioning of a student, including the use of alternative names and pronouns.
Strongly Agree
Any and everything about that should be between the parent and student, if the parent deems it necessary to change a child's name, we have a legal process that can get it done in about a month.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
If you can't ride a plane, drive a car (legally), or buy groceries using a credit card without ID, I find no reason whatsoever that an ID shouldn't be used, at a minimum, to ensure any would be voter, can legitimately participate in our country's election process.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No, I haven't.
A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.
Disagree
I can't see a single way that a candidate's moral values wouldn't be relevant in obtaining public support, and furthermore, I think the public would be at a disadvantage if they were unaware of the moral values of their candidates.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative
I believe in a minimalistic government and fiscal responsibility, the policies and procedures we have in play in contemporary society is neither, I think that's what's causing a lot of the division within the country.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
AdamALaRosa.com to read more about my beliefs and to contact me.
2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.
Neutral
It's the responsibility of the constituents to let the legislature know what they believe should happen on this topic, not mine, and I'm pretty sure the state legislature has already written statutes on the matter.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?
If the student volunteers to work in the kitchen, they should be required to get a health card, which would require certain vaccinations to maintain.
I support mask mandates.
Disagree
Dictators make mandates that are treated like law, in our country we don't have dictators we have legislators, if legislation is not written and passed, it's not a law, therefore should not be enforced by ANY tax funded entity.
