RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I think it is important to note that in Nevada the right to obtain an abortion has been protected by state law for decades, and the only way that could ever be changed is a by a majority vote of the people. A Nevada state legislator has no ability to alter abortion rights in any way. My personal stance is that abortion should be legal when the life of the mother is at risk and in cases of rape and incest. That being said, I respect the will of the people and they voted to codify abortion into statute in 1990; I will not actively work to change what the voters have already said they wanted.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I think one of the biggest issues legislators will have to deal with next session when it comes to the budget is all the COVID relief money that Nevada received that went into funding new programs. Since the budget must be balanced per the Nevada State Constitution, future legislators will have to find the money in the state's General Fund to continue to pay for these new programs. Once the money is spent the programs will continue to need funding. That means either cutting the programs or raising taxes, both require very difficult decision making.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Agree
I’m a firm believer that every child deserves the opportunity to have a great education. Parents should be empowered to advocate for their children and should be the ultimate decision makers when it comes to where their children attend school. Zip codes should not dictate where a child must go to school. I support breaking up CCSD into smaller more manageable districts, believe we should empower families with educational freedom, and ensure education funding follows the student to the classroom.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
