RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I oppose all abortions, but if elected and a bill to eliminate all abortions in the state of Nevada does not have adequate support to pass, I will support the bill which will save the most lives of the unborn in Nevada. It may be 5 years or 20 years or 50 years before our culture accepts that abortion is the murder of a child. As an elected official it is my responsibility to do the most good for the people of Nevada. Many of my friends and other believers will not agree with me and say there is no place for compromise. I agree, but the longer we have the current laws in place the longer the current loss of life will continue. If a compromise will limit late-term abortions, mid-term abortions, or even all abortions after a heartbeat is discernible, I will have contributed to many saved lives and can live with the criticism. I pray that Roe v. Wade is overturned and we have this opportunity to vote for legislators who can determine future laws of this type.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

It should not be so difficult to put a criminal to death if we are making it so much easier for someone to take their own life. There needs to be some boundaries and guidelines to limit the situations where professionals can provide assistance to end an adult's life by their own choice.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I do not plan to support any new taxes and would consider amending some of the tax increases passed in the last 10 years. We must make Nevada an inviting alternative to businesses looking to relocate.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The entire budget system should be justified every two years rather than deciding how much each item needs to be increased. Each governor needs to be held accountable for his budget.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Quality K-12 education is critical. Increasing the length of our commitment without improving the result of K-12 first is demented. Giving the same people responsibility for K-16 with the current "bottom of the barrel" results is silly and stupid. A good education is important, but our students need to be able to read, write and do simple business math before they move on. "Stupid is what stupid does." Forest Gump
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

I am a businesswoman. I provide jobs. I provide necessary services. I act to comply with all laws and regulations. It is my money at risk, not the government's. My customers can bargain for my services but I will have no one including the government dictate who I need to do business with.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Read the US and state Constitutions, NONE. Emergency guidelines can be established but not ordered. The churches themselves can choose to close temporarily but do not expect consensus.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C is closest to the option I would consider but flexibility is necessary for change.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. I choose to have my children vaccinated but sign the religious exemption because I believe the state has no right to gather my family's data. I have 2 children in the NV Army National Guard. My son chose to have the vax and almost died in the field from a vaccine-related incident. I thank God for the Army medics who treated him and got him to the hospital at Nellis Airbase in time to avoid permanent injuries. My daughter chose not to be vaccinated and is facing expulsion from the Guard. Vaccines should be a matter of choice. We are Americans and have that right and responsibility.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The United States needs to protect its citizens here and abroad. Further, we need to respect the beliefs of those who are Muslim but we need not sit by and allow radicals to infect our allies in the world. Radicals are as much of a threat to Arab and other countries with Muslim populations and our allies include many nations with significant Muslim minorities and majorities.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Another dumb proposal, to dictate to another state, Israel, how to run their country. This is a one-sided proposal. We should dictate terms to Russia and China to recognize their minorities and not attack third-party countries such as Ukraine and Taiwan.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I am an immigrant. My children are the children of an immigrant. We make this country better. "Open borders" is a travesty and damages MY country. It's a stupid policy and if it continues we will have no country. I believe in immigration and the opportunity it offers people like me and I do believe we make the US better and all of us better as well. Those who have come here illegally must register immediately, those with criminal offenses or using government benefits must leave. The rest will be given a provisional status. Those who came as adults may not vote for 20 years. Their children may vote as they come of age. Any criminal offense will lead to immediate expulsion. In the future, we must control immigration.

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

I understand what the Bible says. I stand with my Christian brothers and sisters knowing the truth from sin. This issue has been addressed by the highest court in our land. I prefer to live in peace with this decision, To my gay and lesbian friends, I do ask one question. Those who promoted this issue are those that continue to push the boundaries of culture and what makes us Americans including those rights recognized as Natural rights by our Constitution. Stand with us.

I am a Christian, raised by a Baptist pastor father, both parents served as missionaries in Africa. I married a Christian man and raised four Christian children. We are far from perfect but forgiven.

The vote needs to be protected. Everyone entitled to vote should be given an opportunity to vote. The integrity of the vote must be protected.

The opportunity to cast absentee ballots must last. Ballots should not be mailed out to the public at large. Some early voting is good. Must provide a picture ID or offered a provisional ballot only.

No. BUT if there is a threat or possibility of a threat it needs to be addressed.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

80% of Nevada is controlled by the federal government, 15% is federal parkland and Dept of Defense bases, and the other 65% is managed by a federal bureaucracy known as the Bureau of Land Management. (BLM) Only Alaska has a greater percentage under BLM control. There is a process for a state to reclaim control of this property. I am in favor of Nevada reclaiming its right to control over the determination of the best uses for this property.

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
