Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
l believe the rights of the unborn equal the rights of the mother and that both lives are of intrinsic value and should be preserved with equal vigor.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
A simple tax code should be instituted. Do away with death/estate taxes, capital gains tax, alternative minimum tax and double taxation on corporate dividends and social security.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I support starting with zero-based (all expenditures clearly justified and explained) balanced budgets at all levels of government. Do away with the following federal agencies, US Department of Education, EPA , Department of Energy, and Department of Commerce, and an audit of other agencies to see where duplication or obsolescence is present.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?
In my opinion, there are no circumstances where a church should be closed by the government. During the pandemic, the Supreme Court overturned restrictions in California, Nevada and New York which were regulating houses of worship differently than businesses.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

There are no circumstances where a government, school or employer should be requiring a vaccination with no waiver or exceptions.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We should ensure our defense/military is strong and ready. We should stop all foreign aid to countries where terrorism is originating. We should institute strict economic sanctions on terrorist organizations and countries. No nuclear deal with Iran and intentionally strengthen our relationship with Israel and other countries in the region who want to partner with Israel for a secure and peaceful middle-east.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Finish the border wall, close the border until security can be ensured. All illegal crossings should be subject to immediate deportation. Reinstitute the 'stay in Mexico' policy.

We should have a merit-based immigration system which allows for sustainable employment and wage growth for all Americans. Any immigrant should support the Constitution and the rule of law.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I support abolishing the mass mailing of ballots (go back to standard absentee ballots by request), removing the DMV automatic voter registration, requiring a government issued photo ID at the time of voting, ending same day voter registrations and requiring all electronic voting machines have a paper record for a clear audit trail.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I see racism being used as a tool of those in power to separate us and used to cause fear against one another for political agendas and to maintain political power. We the people are unified when we stand together as Americans and patriots against this narrative.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The founders were brilliant in that the purpose of government is to protect our unalienable rights (given by God) not to 'provide' for us. We need to limit government to its constitutional role and no more.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I love God, my family, my country and my state. I am a native Nevadan who has served in 2 branches of the military and see my government overreaching into our lives in an unconstitutional way and I can no longer sit on the sidelines. We cannot win a fight we're not in. To quote Ronald Reagan- "I’m not a politician by profession. I am a citizen who decided I had to be personally involved.” I will serve the people of Nevada and do what is right and constitutional, not just what is easy. Thank you
