OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I'm a Pro-Life candidate and we will create a better New Hampshire for Moms and Pre-Babies. Therefore, if a bill came across my desk ending abortion in New Hampshire, I would sign it immediately.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

New Hampshire must remain Income Tax Free! My plan is to provide for better avenues to reduce Property Taxes and we will get to work on that on Day 1.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

On Day 1 we will remove any monies for Planned Parenthood they receive. Next, I'd have an audit done on every department to ensure each dollar is accounted for and being spent properly. We are wasting money by not driving competition and being stuck in large Government Contracts.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

We should never ask anyone to violate their Rights of Conscience per our Constitution.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None. It violates our New Hampshire and US Constitutions.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No Government, School, Municipality, or Employer should ever be allowed to force vaccinations.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

First, we have to finish building the Southern wall and close our borders. This is the fastest and easiest path for terrorists to enter the country and it is a real threat. This includes the Northern Border, and we are seeing now a huge uptick in activity up North. We also must fully fund our law enforcement, from local police, to State Troopers, and on the list goes. Until law enforcement is empowered to do their vital work, we are at a disadvantage. WIth the shortages around the country, especially in New Hampshire, we are already in a bad situation. We must protect freedoms, while at the same time empower our law enforcement to do their job and investigate and apprehend criminals immediately.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The Souther Border is chaotic nightmare and needs to be fixed asap. It is an urgent issue.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who apply for citizenship and are thoroughly vetted, just like the process has always been. Right now, however, immigration is a disaster and until this mess is fixed, it is impossible for most Americans to trust any politician who supports President Biden and his Administration. Until we have a different President in office, we won't be able to trust the flow of immigrants into our country.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Agree

I'm not concerned about what the state chooses to do, and we don't need the Government involved in these decisions again. We should embrace the individuals freedom, as long as their views aren't being forced on others.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I could not disagree with tenets or ideologies of CRT more than I do. It is a concept built to harass, divide, and confuse and has zero place in our schools or communities.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian. These values guide my life and the decisions I make, as does my family and how I was raised. My values have always been rooted in a positive narrative, despite the tough times we face today. I am filled with hope for the good we will do in New Hampshire.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

There are voting practices right now that violate our constitution. We must do a better job at the polls, and on Day 1 I'll establish the Office of Election Integrity to fix our voting problems. Every Granite Stater should be able to trust our elections, and far too many don't. We can't allow college students to vote here and in their home state, which is happening. There's a lot of work to be done.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, because we have the laws and structures build to prosecute crimes of race, just as we do with any other law, and we are doing this. Our law enforcement needs to be better equipped and empowered before we can accuse them of not doing their job.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

This is vital to the economic health of our country right now, and for decades to come.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

As it says in our Constitution, to serve us at the consent of "the people". We have natural rights afforded to us, and this idea flows directly into our Constitution. Our Government serves at our consent, and it does this by leaders we fairly elect. The Government should never be pushing series of controls on the people, but we've seen this for the last few years. We will do better when I'm elected.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

The best source of policy information and the actual work I'll do as Governor of New Hampshire can be found on my website. As a Conservative with a strong voting record, I'll work to improve and empower parents in our schools, protect our freedoms, stop the drug dealers pushing fentanyl into our communities, and establish the Office of Election Integrity. On Day 1, we'll get to work and no Governor will do more good for New Hampshire than I will. https://www.thadforgovernor.com/on-day-one

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

We must absolutely fully fund our police.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Lives are saved by good men and women with guns. We need to continue our restrictions on felons being able to purchase firearms, while absolutely rejecting any attempts to subject us to the unconstitutional Red Flag Laws. New Hampshire needs to keep its current laws and should not take away gun owners rights.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
