OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion is not elective and should only be considered to save the mother and child.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

This is not an easy decision and all measures should be taken and options explored before making any of these decisions.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

They need to simplify the tax code.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Foreign aid and social programs that are not part of the government's constitutional duty.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Public education is not mentioned in the Constitution.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

People have used unnecessary lawsuits to bankrupt people because they do not agree with their religious beliefs. They have weaponized the courts to go after and persecute people over their religious beliefs. We have seen Christians targeted for their beliefs and that needs to stop. Either we have a first amendment or we don't.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never. Our own history has shown how pivotal our churches are to the founding of this country.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

I am between C and D. The government was never meant to be a provider for healthcare. It all can be handled better through the private sector. The government should never be seen as a healthcare provider.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Never.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We should not get involved in foreign affairs unless it directly affects our country and our citizens.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I do not like or support racist movements like BDS.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Build the wall and go after those who hire illegals that undermine our working families' wages.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who follow the rules/laws of this country and wait their turn. My parents came here the legal way, so everyone else can too.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

As a teacher, I see that school choice is favorable to everyone, but schools should also have a choice in which students they allow or do not allow due to poor academics and citizenship. It needs to go both ways. Students excel in schools that are able to uphold a standard. Substandard schools that provide inadequate education is due to the fact that they hold substandard expectations from students. Both students and schools need to be held to a higher standard.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

We need to teach real history in schools.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

The government should not be involved when it comes to defining marriage. No one is telling anyone who to love or not love. People are free to have their own civil unions, but they do not have the right to hijack an already established institution.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is forcing racism and racist beliefs onto people who would otherwise get along. It is the government that is causing this unnecessary divide and it needs to stop. Most people get along and cannot get over the fact that people are just jerks no matter what skin color.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I have seen firsthand discrimination when I voted. I have voted in every election from primaries, to the general and special elections and I was never asked to show an ID until this past election. I registered on time and months in advanced; whereas, the person next to me was registering right at that moment before getting into the voting booth and was not asked for an ID. The only difference was that I had an "R" next to my name and he was "NP".

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would propose voter ID's, limit voting time, stop sending out mail-in ballots and make ballot harvesting illegal.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It is now because people are weaponizing and threatening one another with false accusations of racism. People lose their business, livelihoods, etc. because all you have to do is accuse someone of racism and they lose their credibility and livelihoods. As for groups from the BLM to the KKK, they should never have power to threaten people and their properties. They should be prosecuted if they do cause any harm.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Some laws and regulations actually impede freedom and progress.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The government is to only be allowed to do what the Constitution allows them to do and that is protect individual rights and to protect its citizens from foreign threats.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

This survey should clearly show where I stand.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

As a mother, wife, teacher and Christian conservative, my 3 main concerns are: education, election integrity and limiting the government. I have seen terrible and dangerous government policies failing our schools. I see how elections aren't fair or honest and I see the government acting on their own interests. My husband and daughters are union ironworkers and they have to travel out of state to get work. All this government overreach and upheaval is causing division and making it harder for working families to make a decent living. I would try to make sure that the government does not have so much power over our lives that it makes it impossible to imagine that we actually live in America. What we experienced in the past few years was unconstitutional and those who overstepped their powers should be held accountable. So many of us (such as myself) are tired of watching others dictate how we live to the point they are telling us we cannot gather for holidays with loved ones or see them in the hospitals where they need us most. I would propose any legislation that would stop the government from ever imprisoning us and suppressing our freedom.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

If they are following departmental policy, then yes.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Police departments need their own budgets, it is not their fault that some people have mental health issues. If people are acting up because they are bored and need an excuse like they need community programs, well then the churches can fulfill that criteria.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Constitution already addresses this issue. The only restriction should be on the government suppressing U.S. citizens' rights as outlined in the second amendment.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Guns are a tool. Unless there is a manufacturing issue, then yes, but not when someone uses the tool unlawfully it is not the manufacturers' fault.
