I am pro life personally, but I support a woman's right to choose because I believe our choices are ultimately between us and God. God gives us free will to choose, and who are we to force someone to make choices according to our personal will. Especially in emotionally distraught situations when rape or medical intervention is needed to save the mother's life.

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

I am open to adjusting tax rates based on income and where a person lives, but I do not agree with the word "redistribution" as it sounds a bit socialist.

I want to see corporations pay their fair share. I want to fix loopholes that are in place that help corporations avoid paying their fair share of taxes. The middle class is struggling and I would like to see their tax rates lowered. This wouldn't be my responsibility working in federal government, but there needs to be adjustments made considering cost of living vs. income. For instance a person making $100k + and living in California can barely survive due to housing costs, but they are taxed like someone living in a low cost state. California for instance has a massive surplus in tax revenues and that money should have been back in people's pockets.

Speaking as a Christian pastor, I believe our religious freedom is based on being a son or daughter of God, and the government does not affect our standing with Jesus. That is most important! Not forsaking the fellowship of the brethren isn't about going to church on Sunday, It's about living in community with believers day to day. Having church at home with my family during Covid was a period of exponential growth that I saw in my kids' faith. We are nowhere near the risk other countries have.

I do not believe that trans athletes should be allowed to compete- especially trans feminine athletes playing against other women and girls. This is an issue of biological chemistry and is a big issue.

I can't make a blanket statement about the environment. I don't agree with either of these statements. We need to look at things deeper. Not everything is black and white and we need some middle ground to make environmental progress without it being at the detriment of our agriculture etc.

With that said, the police department needs funding and the only funds redirected away from the police department in to mental health should be directly related to how the police department responds to a mental health crisis ie mental health care training.
