QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Rape, and incest.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

At this junction, after 50 years of deliberation, it is apparent that the federal government is unable to address the matter. A role that I believe the federal government is capable of filling as it relates to limiting abortion, is creating alternatives to abortion. This means finding ways to remove many of the perceived needs for an abortion by parents. Initiatives I will bring forward in Congress creating more financial security for parents and relieving the tax burden associated with starting and raising a family. Additionally, I will focus on creating more incentives for adoption and materially raise the quality of foster care programs (public and private). The children of our nation must have a real path to the opportunities Americans have worked so hard to create for each other.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

I have written a bill that will suspend the federal income tax on the first $182,000 of income ($400,000 for couples) and exempt active duty military and honorably discharged Veterans from the same for life.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Agree

This is a lobbying play by educational lenders to receive a lump sum payout from the taxpayers just as we saw the mortgage lenders do in 2008 with the bailouts. Major educational lenders are aware that the economy is collapsing and the likelihood of them recapturing their profits is shrinking. We can see it for what it is.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

We should invest in protecting, preserving, and improving our environment yes. But not through these rating systems.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. This also means the federal government cannot threaten religious institutions for choosing not to give communion to politicians whose policies do not align with that institution's beliefs, just as an example.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Remember, we are sovereign citizens. We have the freedom of association. Also see NAACP v. Alabama ex rel. Patterson, 357 U.S. 449, 460–61 (1958). Businesses are private enterprises and can choose to take or not take profits from whomever they choose.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. They can be made available.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I believe there is a way for us to sustainably provide quality healthcare to all citizens, however given our government’s demonstrated inability to successfully develop and execute large scale programs it is obvious we are decades away from that. In the interim, I believe an answer close to B is the first opportunity available to us. It should be a voucher like system that allows the citizens to freely select whatever doctor they desire, regardless of network or plan etc.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

In short, C.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

My graduate thesis is on the threat of China to the US and how we can defeat them without the use of war.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Militarily, yes. It is the foothold for the US’ middle east presence.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

In short: America has lost confidence in US leadership. Sadly, this now includes senior military leaders, the DoD, Congress, and most egregiously the current administration. These failure have been demonstrated in the unlawful violations of the constitutional rights of our Service Members, the handling of Afghanistan withdrawal among other engagements, and the dilution of the focus of our fighting force.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

If you do not control your borders, you do not have borders, if you do not have borders you are not a country.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any law abiding person ready and willing to contribute to this nation and seek a better way of life. Immigration must be done in a coherent process, one where we know who is entering and exiting our country and what they are bringing with them. This is possible and reasonable to accomplish with actual leaders in office.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I think a school choice voucher program is the only way to save our educational system at this juncture.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Wholeheartedly agree.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

The government is an unnecessary party to your marriage, we do not need nor should we request from them a license to wed. Marriage is sacred, some religions have their definition of what that constitutes and they are allowed and encouraged to do so. Not all must subscribe to a particular religion’s definition, this is our right as sovereign beings.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Children are our future and the reason we are here. I will do everything in my power to protect the children.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely not, and that includes military. Not the role of government.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

The purpose of life is to do Good and be Good.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The vote is the foundation of our republic, its accuracy must be sacrosanct. You must prove you are a citizen to vote in the affairs of our nation and help determine its future.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Disagree

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

This is a simultaneous attack on women and men as well as decency and sanity. Stand up now.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

Our climate is ever changing, we have a living planet that is ever adapting and evolving. Humans have created technology that appears to not be beneficial to the environment, in the way we can continue to improve our technology to mitigate or remove harm and even benefit our planet if we so choose. Separately, I have not seen our government successfully accomplish anything that leads me to believe that they are the best entity for such a monumental responsibility. Have you?

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

We know we have the technology to supply our country with sufficient renewable energy. It isn’t just one, it is the combination of several, and many others that are coming to market. I am excited to see more about the promising developments of fusion

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

I am focused on protecting the republic, that is my guiding light. I focus on the rights of the individual and the improving the efficiency of our government to accomplish its purpose.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To create safety, benefit, opportunity, and advantage to and for its citizens

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Felons are not allowed to own guns.
