What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Cut tax rates across the board. Create a standard deduction for PA. Allow deductions for dependents in PA. Reduce the corporate tax rate - PA has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the country. Lowering the corporate tax rate will increase wages, and encourage businesses to move to PA, which will generate more tax revenue.

I would cut back on any special interest projects. I will not vote for legislation that increases spending, without balancing it with the elimination of spending. Special interest "PORK" needs to be eliminated.

College is not the only option for secondary education. I am for offering better assistance for under-privileged individuals to obtain a secondary education if they want one. Included in an assistance program should be better access to trade schools. Trade schools should also be encouraged at the primary level. I am also a supporter of the school voucher program and school choice. Schools should not be run by the government, but we need to ensure everyone has access to a quality education.

Continue to monitor and assess threats as they arise. Reduce our dependence on foreign oil, which will weaken many of the countries who would do us harm. Have strict immigration policies that fully vet people coming from regions where terror threats originate. Unfortunately we no longer have strong allies in the middle east. We need to rebuild those relationships.

My priority as representative in the PA General Assembly will be to do whatever I can to limit the role of government in people's lives. I will work to lift restrictions on businesses that make it difficult to operate in the state. I will promote individual liberty, both socially and economically. I am for school choice and parents' rights.
