QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I support and defend the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. I am 100% staunchly pro life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I support tax reform that controls borrowing and debt so we aren't saddling future generations with today's problems. Liberal tax-and-spend increases to budgets must be opposed to protect tax payers, promote job growth, and ensure fiscal discipline.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

By making our regulatory system fair and predictable we can position Pennsylvania to be competitive with other states. Harnessing the opportunities presented by our energy, healthcare, and traditional manufacturing sectors to foster economic growth and create more jobs.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstances does the government have any right to close churches.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but with great overhaul and reform to address gross negligence, over spending, and fraud.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I do not support vaccine mandates or vaccine passports.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Preserving personal freedoms, stopping government overreach, protecting the 2nd Amendment, and upholding conservative values are all central to a strong America First policy stance that gives the United States peace through strength on the global stage.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who would come to the benefit of the United States of America.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian who believes the Bible and understands the importance of faith, hard work, and family values.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Support and implement Voter ID to ensure only voters legally allowed to take part in an election are participating.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Propaganda programs that foster hate, like CRT, must never be funded and taught in public schools. This type of indoctrination, left unchecked, will threaten domestic security.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

We must work hard at protecting jobs and our economy from stricter environmental laws that would hurt Pennsylvanians. While also responsibly managing and protection the natural assets and wildlife of our communities and of Pennsylvania.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Robert Leadbeter is a 100% pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-free enterprise, pro-freedom Christian conservative. He will be a strong voice in Harrisburg for our conservative values. -Preserving Personal Freedoms & Conservative Values- Stop government overreach that infringes on the inalienable rights granted us all by God and through our U.S. and Pennsylvania Constitutions. Preserve the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms; support concealed carry and the right to self-defense. 100% Pro-Life – Promote and protect the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. Ensure our First Amendment right to freedom of speech - especially from censorship by big tech and media companies. -Promoting Job Growth & Fiscal Discipline- Protect taxpayers by opposing liberal tax-and-spend increase budgets in Harrisburg. Support job-creating small businesses and entrepreneurs by cutting PA's highest in the nation corporate income tax. Pass a Taxpayers' Bill of Rights that limits spending growth and requires super-majorities for tax increases. Make PA competitive with other states to keep and attract job creators by making our regulatory system fair and predictable. Control borrowing and debt so we aren't saddling future generations with today's problems. Harness the opportunities presented by our energy, healthcare, and traditional manufacturing sectors to foster economic growth and create more jobs. -Ensuring Election Integrity- Support and implement Voter ID to ensure only voters legally allowed to take part in an election are participating. Eliminate areas of potential fraud like drop-boxes or absentee ballots without postmarks or signatures. Require a full audit of any vote for PA or federal office with a margin of victory of less than one-half of a percent. -Providing Educational Opportunity- School Choice – We need to ensure parents have the right to choose the education that is best for their children, including public, private, trade and technical, and homeschool education. Education Reform – Our education system should support not only college-bound students, but also students interested in a trade or joining the military. Parental Rights, Accountability, and Transparency – Parents and taxpayers have a right to know what is being taught in public schools, and programs that foster hate, like CRT, are never funded. -Supporting Law Enforcement & Veterans- Keep our communities and families safe by supporting law enforcement so they have the tools and resources to do their job and keep our communities safe. Oppose radical efforts to artificially reduce the role of law enforcement and “defund the police”. Support PA's veterans by making sure they have access to every program available to them. -Preserving Our Agricultural & Natural Heritage- Ensure the continued success of family farms and agri-businesses throughout Columbia County. Work with the agricultural community and experts in the field to help protect against invasive species and other threats to our farms. Responsibly manage and protect the natural assets and wildlife of our communities and of Pennsylvania so they can be enjoyed by today's families and future generations.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
