QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, Incest, Life of the Mother

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

On the guidelines as above

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

I support DNR

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

It should be simplified to 1 page and easy to understand. The role of Auditor should be more of a customer service role and not an inspector.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

There are several funds that have a mandated annual increase. Good work has be done to identify these funds. Although more needs to be done to put an end to this practice.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

College assistance should be done in the form of grants and scholarships and not be funded by the taxpayer. I also believe that college tuition costs need to be studied for publicly funded colleges.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Businesses have the right to determine their client and marketplace. This is a Government overreach.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstances. Ref: Establishment Clause, Bill of Rights

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

None apply

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Federal issue-not applicable

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Work Visa, Student Visa, Investor Visa, Asylum Court

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have the ability to choose a school for their children on the basis of need and not geography.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

While Article one of the Bill of Rights precludes a "National Religion" each citizen has God given rights for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Disagree

Every citizen has the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness and the government shall not preclude that right. Although I believe the term "marriage" to be a biblical term that derives from the book of Genesis 2:24.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christian, believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Camp Hill Church of God Member, member of the Praise Band (guitar).

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

While Act 77 greatly widened the voting parameters, I believe all efforts should be made to protect the integrity and sanctity of our elections. It is fundamental to our democracy.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Repeal Act 77. The act is too vague and does not promote voter confidence or election integrity.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Unfortunately, there are extreme and hate based organizations who's goal is to victimize people on skin color, ethnicity, religious or political beliefs and geography. While I personally deplore these groups, I don't believe they rise to the level of domestic threat.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A: needless restrictions on businesses and industry hurt the economy. I DO NOT subscribe to the policies of the "Green New Deal"

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Oil independence is not only important to the economy and bringing relief to families but is a benefit to national security.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

I believe strongly in the Constitution which creates and national government consisting of a legislative, an executive, and a judicial branch with a system of checks and balances among the three branches. It also divided power between the federal government and the states. It also protects the individual liberties of American citizens.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

I am conservatives in matters of the economy and religion. However, I am slightly more moderate in social matters.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I don't believe any exist.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I understand the concerns and needs of constituents of the 103rd House District. Under the current policies, families are hurting both economically and emotionally. There is a great deal of uncertainty and lack of confidence in our elected leaders is at an all time high. I hope to restore this by doing the hard work of consensus building which will lead to accomplishments in our government instead of divisiveness and bickering. Areas such as gas tax and property tax reform as well streamlining our state budget and offering parents a choice in their children's education. With my passion, faith, and strong collaborative government skills, I believe I am uniquely equipped to chart a new course for our state legislature.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

Our Police and first responders should have freedom to perform their duties under the policies of conduct within the department. Police policy should be subject to review of those that are in a position of knowledge and expertise.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Police officers are already trained to access and diffuse difficult and sometimes dangerous situations. I believe the publishing of rare and extreme examples of misconduct are not representative of the performance of our Police in general.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Background checks and red flag laws.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

I believe these type of lawsuits are a tactic to side step the 2nd Amendment.
