QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am pro-life. Through personal experience and holding in my arms our daughter who was still born at 6 months during pregnancy I fully understand and believe that this is life. And to take this life or rob a child of their life is unacceptable.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Using taxpayers money to commit murder is unacceptable.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

This is a tough one, because none of us know what an individual is going through or the pain they are experiencing during this horrific time in their life. For me to believe I can sit on a throne and dictate to someone or interject my religious beliefs, to me would be interfering with their rights of personal choice.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

My wife (Dorothy) and I founded the "Our Town" publication over 28 years ago. It is a conservative publication in which we write original short stories, editorials, and political commentary. We're in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and have subscriptions that take us all over the country with a circulation of 300,000 to 400,000 readers monthly. This is one of the reasons I have thrown my hat into the ring. Because we can no longer tolerate the reckless spending of an out of control government. We are running on a "We the People" platform where we seek not to be a mouthpiece of the Republican party or the government, but to stand as a barrier to protect the people from a government that has strayed from our founding principles. The GOVERNMENT MUST LEARN TO DO MORE WITH LESS!!! They never ask "We the People" if we can afford a tax increase, they just push it on us. We must fight back. They must learn to do what we have to do. Learn to live within their means.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Very simple. A two year moratorium on all new spending and all increased spending. And after that two year moratorium, a five to ten percent reduction for all government programs, not their automatic increase in growth, that has to stop, but an actual five to ten percent reduction in their budget. And personally, I know this will have a snowball chance in Haites, but I'd like to see a twenty percent reduction in pay and benefits for every politician and staff member to be graduated in over a three year period and a stop to all retirement packages for politicians.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

We need less government spending, not more. If people want something in life they have to work for it, not expect a free handout from the government.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

There's a little sheet of paper called the Constitution that prohibits this. It should be mandatory reading for every politician.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

NONE! In our publication "Our Town" we railed against the government for doing this during the covid pandemic along with encouraging churches to keep their doors open no matter what. Sure we took a lot of heat for it, but believing that the government has the right to shut down a church to keep people from getting sick is not only wrong, in my opinion it is unConstitutional.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. I would agree with this under the stipulation that our government stops all funding, no matter what form it takes, for illegal immigrants and any type of assistance that is paid out to legal immigrants who are subsidized for starting up businesses and use those funds to help American citizens who need medical attention for life threatening conditions and can't afford it.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None! This is why we started the Secondary Church of the Immaculate Constitution. We call it a Secondary church because we insist that individuals keep their church of origin which is for the salvation of their soul through God, but we pray to God for many different things, one of which is for the protection of our freedoms from a rogue government. Our church has well over a thousand members and we were able through God's grace and divine intervention to help hundreds and hundreds of people and families keep their jobs and not have to get the covid vaccine, because our church has one simple doctrine. As a member of our church we believe our body and soul are gifts from the Heavenly Father and to be forced to do anything that we believe would cause this gift harm was against our church's beliefs, whether it be forced vaccination, forced digestion, forced testing or covering, whatever the circumstance. In having this simple doctrine we won the rights of Americans to keep the government out of their personal lives, even beating the network CBS, state and federal prisons, colleges, etc. etc.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

This is a loaded question and cannot be intelligently/honestly answered without knowing the specifics of any one circumstance. We are constantly walking a tightrope between freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution and those who threaten to destroy our way of life. Naturally the protection of our nation and our citizens must always be the prime directive of any public official.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

America's involvement in other country's internal decisions must be kept to a minimum. Unless they are stacking nukes and biological weapons or committing genocide it's honestly none of our business.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

By whatever means necessary!! .... What a novel idea!!

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Legal immigration is just that . . . legal immigration. The volume of people allowed to enter this country should solely be determined by the needs of this nation. There should be no favoritism given to any one group of people, but I guess this is kind of a moot point considering the amount of illegals who come scurrying across the border on a daily basis.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

This is how this should have been from the very beginning. Competition will always improve education.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

If anyone doubts this just look at the cesspool of politicians in Washington DC and all state capitols. But we must always believe in the Constitutional rights of religious freedom for all.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

One of the times I'll actually agree with a liberal is when they say "follow the science". Biologically there are only two genders. If people want to pretend they are something other than the two genders that's fine with me. Just don't ask me to participate in your make believe world.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Neutral

Here's why. Religious freedom. We either have religious freedom or we don't. I personally believe this. It is not my right to force my religious beliefs on another individual because then they would have the right to force their religious convictions on me. I hope you understand this.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Lol Lol Lol Lol!! Next you'll be asking me to believe in Big Foot, the Lochness Monster, the Tooth Fairy . . . but I'll stop right there. I'm not about to say Santa Claus isn't real. Hey, I've got to cover all my bases just in case.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a sinner. I have fallen short of the glory of God. I may not attend church every Sunday, but from the minute I wake up, sometimes at 4:00 in the morning, I start praying for people who have asked me to pray for them. I'll have a drink, I swear at times, but I know in my heart that God loves me. I may not live my life to your standards, but that's never been my mission in life. In all things I do I give honor and glory to God. God has blessed by family and through divine intervention (on a daily basis) He has shown me and my family mercy, grace, and love. And in turn, even though it is difficult at times, I try my best to do unto others as God has done for me and my family. We live in a very rural area with an existence that is difficult and hard. But because of this lifestyle it has kept me grounded in the knowledge and understanding of not only praying to God for others, but also in giving God thanks. There are times that I am walking that I am literally thanking God with every step I take, not in some rhythmic mantra, but with an honest deep heartfelt thank you. Each of us are on a different path, none of which would be possible without God's divine intervention.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Excuse me? Did you witness the last election that was stolen from us by mail in ballots that were uncertifiable? Photo identification is a must.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

How about something very simple? A certifiable one vote for one legal American citizen for all elections from dog catcher to President of the United States.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Real racism? Yes. If it exists it is a threat. However, determining what is racist and what is not is the sticking point. Is reverse racism a viable solution for racism that occurred fifty or sixty years ago? Is it okay for a rapper to use the "n" word in a song? But if somebody is singing that song who is not a person of color, if he uses the "n" word in that song is he then racist? There must be an end to all racism, where ever and however it may exist. But firing somebody because they are not doing their job properly and if that person is a person of color or a different nationality or a different religion, that is not racism. For the most part since all adults/grownups have left the building I do not believe this problem is going to be solved with common sense any time soon.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Please . . . stop! You're making my sides hurt from laughing.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

That's how we become energy independent. Hmmmmm. I thought we were. Oh that's right. We were until the Democrats got into office.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Definitely not what they are doing now. Our government is out of control. They no longer have a connection with "We the People", which is why we need to elect the right people, not liberals, not RINOs, but Constitutionalists and Conservatives to try to get the government back on course.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Read one of our publications "Our Town" if you want to see how Conservative we are and have been so for over 28 years preaching the good word.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Again, read "Our Town" and go to our Facebook page (Our Town USA) to see clips of speeches I have given.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No. . . . . I just wonder how many serving elected politicians can say the same.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am calling for . . . first, a cap on gas prices. If gas goes over three dollars a gallon the cost comes out of the government's fuel taxes, not the pockets of "We the People". Second, a two year moratorium on all new spending and increased spending on government programs. Third, a forty to sixty percent reduction in school and property tax for all senior citizens. We know this is a county by county issue, but the state can provide leverage to make this happen. Also, school vouchers, gun rights, smaller government, an adherence to the Constitution by all elected officials, to name a few things I will be fighting for. In today's world elected officials must be a barrier to protect "We the People" from the government.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Look . . . we don't have all day to answer all of these questions. I apologize but there are twelve of these questionnaires that organizations want us to fill out. I believe that you get a feel from our previous answers who I am.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Keep guns out of the hands of the mentally insane. Also, allow all legal citizens to carry.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
