ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.
Strongly Disagree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Government funding for Public Education from Pre-K to 12th grade.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Strongly Agree
Students should be able to be who they are. This includes speaking about their own faith.
School districts should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Schools need to stop placing sexuality as a political agenda's onto children who are very impressionistic. Schools need to stick to teaching of reading, writing and arithmetic. No school district should be allowed to discriminate at all. Race, sex, religion or age.
Students should not be allowed to pray in school.
Strongly Disagree
Students should feel that they have a free space to be themselves. If prayer's get them through the day, they should be allowed to pray.
EDUCATION
What is the function of the local school board?
I believe the function of the local school boards should be that they maintain the schools are working in a manner that is best for the students, the students families and the community.
Who should have the authority to set curriculum and determine resources used in those curricula?
Board of education, along with a district survery to the parents should help set the curriculum.
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
Parents should never be restricted from speaking at a school board unless they are threating board members and there is a concern for safety. ALL parents should be allowed to speak at school board meetings. However if there are a large group of parents, the time for speaking might need to be limited so that each parent has a right to speak.

American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.
Strongly Agree
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Strongly Agree
I believe that these programs should be opted in with a parent's written consent. The parent should select if they do, or do not want these programs taught to their child.
The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.
Strongly Agree
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Choose not to answer
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Disagree
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Sexual health programs should be a written consent op in for students by their parents. Sexual health would be best taught by the parents however this can be an uncomfortable and hard topic for parents. Programs to begin teaching students about their own bodies should begin in 4th grade. Advancing into the sexual health education, pregnancy & STDS should be taught when students reach high school.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- Physical and emotional health outcomes; contraceptive methods; consent; abstinence; sexual orientation and gender identity; human anatomy/the reproductive system; abortion methods and side effects; stages of pregnancy and fetal development; sex acts and pleasures of sex
human anatomy/the reproductive system- Should be taught at ages 10 to 14 Physical and emotional health outcomes- Should be taught at ages 14 to 18 contraceptive methods; consent; abstinence-Should be taught at ages 16 to 18 stages of pregnancy and fetal development- Should be taught ages 16 to 18 sexual orientation and gender identity-Can be taught with parent consent ages 16 to 18
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
