QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only when the mother's life is truly in danger, and in those cases, every effort should be made to deliver the baby early and save it as with any premature birth.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under no circumstances should taxpayer funds of any sort be used to fund abortions. Let abortion advocates foot the bill for making abortions available.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The simpler, the better. Many taxes should be eliminated, if we could only get government to stop spending money.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

People would be thrilled if we started with the paperwork burden on small businesses. Cutting funding for institutions with already-strong support bases would transfer their costs to the private sector where "needs" would be defined more appropriately.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Neutral

To the degree taxpayer funds are used, there should be strong accountability, both in terms of dollar flows and quality provided.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

It is hard to imagine an appropriate circumstance, other than outright criminal and willful harm to congregants. People have a right to believe what they want and to gather together for that purpose.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C is required in our current conditions. D maybe ideal for different reasons but would require a radical overhaul of the current corporate medical complex.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Monitor terrorist groups. Vet persons coming to the US. Stop interfering in foreign cultures through misguided overreach. Realistically, we can never eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism,.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Many countries have curtailed, even stringent, immigration requirements. Maybe we should consider what they do and why.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

As a product of the public school system and a former public school teacher, I see real value in the public system. Nonetheless, strong competition from the private sector is a benefit for everyone, and private options should be protected and enhanced.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

And other religions hold these values as well. Every functional society adheres to the common values found across all serious religions.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I support, instead, reducing the environmental toxins which wreak havoc on children's endocrine systems. And I support stopping the bullying which causes children to doubt their beauty and self-worth.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Neutral

A church should not be compelled to marry any persons it does not agree in marrying. Likewise, the state can choose to marry and recognize marital unions as it sees fit.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

A lifelong believer, I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Having traveled around the world, I also know there are many people everywhere with compatible beliefs in terms of ability to live together harmoniously and for mutual benefit. Each person travels his or her own spiritual path and is ultimately responsible to his or her Maker. I value life, freedom, truth, self-determination, cultural variety, personal regulation instead of governmental regulation.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

In-person voting, use original absentee voting laws and not mail-in voting, no machines may have internet capabilities or be privately owned. Members of each major party (Republican, Democrat, Independent) should be watching the entire process, together. Make Election Day a national holiday.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Fomenting false racial controversies is a threat to domestic security. Normal people of all races enjoy living in harmony and appreciating one another's differences and cultural traditions. It is not normal to be in a state of hostility to one another, and although the corporate media seems to delight in reporting on racism, people on the street find it natural to get along in friendly cooperation.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The injustices of racism cannot be quantified, and attempting to do is patronizing. It also assumes that the only persons harmed were those of a given race, which is patently false considering the realities of history. If reparations are to be paid, reparations paid to community organizations, rather than to individuals, are worth exploring.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A is closest. Laws are needed because businesses have been well-known to be greedy and irresponsible. However, more laws, simply because we can make laws, is destructive. Social pressure and market forces are far more effective.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I also support using the smallest footprint possible and restoring the land when finished.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To provide for a general order when coordinating many groups, functions, and regions, but to regulate as little as possible. Many activities currently performed by government could instead be assumed by local communities, educational groups, and charities.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I prefer the fewest laws possible. I also believe some of our major problems were perpetuated by conservatives who refused to take topics, such as the environment, seriously. Big Business has committed terrible sins against the People and should not be endorsed carte blanche by conservatives. True capitalism enhances space for the common man to get ahead by ingenuity, hard work, and freedom. Local communities also know far better how to solve their problems than does the government.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I entered politics at the beginning of March 2022; thus, no such data exists.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Medical freedom is essential. The patient always has a right to refuse treatment, including experimental vaccinations. Doctors and nurses should be able to function at peak standards without interference from corporate leaders having interests other than the best care of the patient. As well, many of our health problems have been influenced by our unclean food supply and depleted soils. Inhumane practices, as found on CAOs, further contribute.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

This assumes that department policy is appropriate.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Violent criminals should have no access to firearms. Red flag laws are ripe for abuse; any purported benefit is radically outweighed by the social detriment. I support constitutional carry and increasing firearms training as an organic outflow of people buying firearms, not through requirements but through the natural desire of the firearms owner to be well-trained. The firearms community has repeatedly shown itself to excel in training. The more responsible gun owners carry guns, the less likely criminals will dare to commit crimes.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
