OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support ‘aid in dying laws’.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I support banning abortion in all its forms, with only one exception: that abortion should only be turned to as an absolute last resort to protect the mother if she is facing an immediate risk – excluding mental health issues – of losing her life.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The tax code of the United States is among the most complex in the world and is an incredible burden on our economy and on individuals and families. We must lower taxes across the board and eliminate as many as possible, including corporate and individual income taxes, and dividend and capital gains taxes, and implement a national sales tax, which would simplify compliance, lower the overall tax burden, attract more business and foreign investment to the United States, and supercharge economic growth. Individuals and families, and especially minority communities, would benefit most from these reforms with higher wages and a higher standard of living. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed by President Trump in 2017 demonstrates how a simplified tax code with a lower tax burden would pay for itself and enrich the lives of all Americans while boosting economic growth. A more aggressive, broad-based and comprehensive tax reform would transform the United States back into the powerhouse of opportunity and wealth our nation had been for most of our history.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Congress has a responsibility to protect the free exercise of religion and the right to free expression as established in the First Amendment of our Constitution. Under no circumstances should Congress restrict the freedom of any individual to worship their God as they choose or to force them to act against their values or beliefs. Serving in Congress, I will fight to right the wrongs of previous Congresses and the Courts by seeking the repeal of laws that violate the freedom of religion, including the full repeal Obamacare and laws funding abortion with Federal tax dollars.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should any entity require an individual to be vaccinated. I support a ban on vaccine mandates in all forms.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I am against the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and believe Congress should act to protect the Jewish people and America’s great ally Israel.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

China is the greatest threat we face to American interests, human rights, and global peace. National security policy should be concentrated on countering Chinese aggression and threats to America and our interests. Congress must fully fund our military to defend against Chinese cyber and military warfare and to adequately meet the demands of this unprecedented challenge to our freedom.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Radical Islamic terrorism is a constant threat to the United States, and in the wake of the Biden Administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, Al Qaeda, ISIS, and other radical Islamic terror organizations, now have a new base of operations to plan and execute acts of terrorism against America and the West. To protect America, first and foremost, we must secure our borders. The Biden Administration and radical Democrats’ open border policies pose a grave national security threat to our homeland, as hundreds of thousands of unknown persons pour across the southern border every month. Unless we stop this mass flow of people, it is inevitable that these policies will be exploited by criminals, drug cartels, and radical Islamic terror groups to gain entry into the United States and commit acts of terrorism on our homeland. Second, we must strengthen our alliances in the Middle East, including most important our alliance with Israel, and standing against anti-American dictatorships and international sponsors of terrorism such as Iran.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The Biden Administration and radical Democrats’ open border policies are a grave threat to America. We must end these destructive policies, fully fund ICE and Customs and Border Patrol, and finishing building the wall along our southern border began under President Trump. Serving in Congress, I will make physically securing our borders a top priority.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The United States immigration system is highly dysfunctional and requires extensive reform. Congress must act to secure our borders and establish an effective and streamlined vetting process to identify who is entering our country and whether they are a security risk. Congress must also eliminate loopholes which encourage immigration for the exploitation of welfare programs. Under no circumstances should any criminal or potential terrorist be allowed entry into the United States. Given the millions of illegal immigrants who have entered the United States, and with so many Americans unemployed, homeless, or living in poverty, I believe we must institute a moratorium on immigration for the next 5 years to stabilize our country.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Sexual orientation and gender identity should not be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I do not agree with Critical Race Theory. The United States has done more than any nation in history to eradicate slavery and end racism. The United States and our institutions are not fundamentally racist.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a practicing Catholic, I worship Christ and live his teachings, which emphasize the inherent dignity and respect of all people, and are most clearly expressed by the Golden Rule in the Gospel of Matthew (7:12), which urges us to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” The United States Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our legal system, have enshrined this respect of the individual as the fundamental cornerstone of our society. Equality before the law, the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion and expression, the right to keep and bear arms, and the protection from unreasonable searches and seizures under the Fourth Amendment, are among the many protections which embody this fundamental belief, and which have made the United States a beacon of hope and freedom for all the world.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo identification should always be required to vote.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

America must ensure our elections are secure. I propose reforming election law to reduce ambiguity and strengthen trust in our elections, including by requiring photo identification when voting, limiting vote by mail to only those physically disabled or serving in the military, requiring mail-in ballots to be received no later than election day, and abolishing early in-person voting. By doing so, we will limit opportunity for fraud and rebuild trust among the American people.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

I am against reparations.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is not a threat to domestic security in the United States.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

My nationally syndicated podcast, Red White & Truth: The Red, White & Truth (redwhitetruth.com) https://redwhitetruth.com/about Media coverage on my campaign: NEWS (mikecrispi.com) www.mikecrispi.com Social media accounts: Mike Crispi (@MikeCrispiNJ) / Twitter https://twitter.com/mikecrispinj Mike Crispi (@redwhitetruth) / Instagram https://www.instagram.com/redwhitetruth/ Mike Crispi | Facebook https://www.facebook.com/MikeCrispiNJ

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

I have never been convicted of a crime.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Mike Crispi has been on the frontlines fighting the fake news media’s all-out assault on the America First movement and President Trump. He has spent his entire adult life in New Jersey and has had success both as a businessman and a conservative talk show host. But in 2015, Mike saw the America First movement rising and began a tireless fight to advance conservative values through his investigative reporting, hard-hitting broadcasts, and on the ground events coverage. Mike is a courageous conservative who will promote our American values, defend President Trump, and stand with the people of New Jersey’s 4th district – now the most conservative district in the Northeast after redistricting. My priority in Congress will be to fight for our America First conservative values. I’ll be that congressman: defending our standing in the world, protecting our Constitutional rights at home, and empowering communities, families, and individuals to seize the opportunities America provides. Mike was raised in a working-class family of public servants and went on to earn a collegiate football scholarship to Elon University before embarking on a successful business career. Now, Mike has answered President Trump's November 13, 2021 call for a true, America First primary challenger to defeat the increasingly unreliable Republican, Chris Smith.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I support additional funding for mental health and community programs where required, and on the condition that such funding does not negatively impact the funding of our police.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Only those convicted of violent crimes, such as murder, manslaughter, or rape, should be restricted from gun ownership. No law-abiding American citizen should ever been restricted from owning a firearm. The Right to Keep and Bear Arms must not be infringed. Congress must act in every way to protect this sacred individual right. Should I have the honor of representing the people of New Jersey in Congress, I pledge to defend against all efforts to undermine our Second Amendment. Whether it be Constitutional Carry, the Castle Doctrine, National Reciprocity, or “Shall Issue” protocols – there will be no greater proponent of the Second Amendment in Congress than me.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Victims of gun violence should never be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
