What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I am generally against it. The public school system is supposed to be state & locally funded. I do not mind federal funds being used locally in schools as long as there are no strings attached to that money (such as you will receive a certain amount of dollars but to receive it you must Implement a certain curriculum or initiate certain policies, masking, etc.). That is not Okay. If federal funds are given in order to be used to build a gym or a playground with no other strings attached, I am okay with that.

Represent & protect parents' rights, students' rights & safety, & teacher support for behavioral & academic issues. Ensure that the constitution of Montana is upheld where it regards education.

This authority lies with the school board as directed by & representative of parents & community members.

American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.

Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.

These are areas that families should be teaching their children, not the public school.

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents/Families should begin discussing a child's biology/anatomy with them when they deem it appropriate based on curiosities other parental observable factors such as behavior like noticeable interest in the opposite sex. This may be between 3-5th grades pending on the child. Age-appropriate discussions should be considered for 6-7th grade students regarding biology and the physical and emotional process of sexual reproduction. High school students should be having serious introductory-level discussions regarding human sexuality, reproduction, social pressures, body image, STDs, pregnancy, parenting, morality & God's design for male/female relationships, warning against the harms of being sexually active before marriage, pornography, same-sex relationships, perverse relationships, illicit sexual activity, sex trafficking, gender confusion, etc. Some of these issues may be appropriate for middle school students should a parent deem it. As high school students continue to age, the level of these issues will increase as well until parents are discussing sexual relationships with their kids as young adults.

I do not support a general sex ed curriculum for all students in public schools. If it is too be taught, these issues need to be taught to include spiritual & moral bases to human sex & reproduction, the medical & mental health outcomes of same sex relationships, gender confusion, & abortion. These issues should not be taught as normal or healthy. This does not need to be spiritualized, you simply have to present what is already prevalent in current medical literature & survey statistics. Sex ed should only be taught under these conditions, framework, & with all curricular materials including supporting materials to be available at all times & before a course is registered for, to the parents. Parental consent would need to be required prior to registering for this type of course.

2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.

School violence rates have exponentially increased since the adoption of federal, state, & local oversight that limits the constitutional right of individuals to protect & defend themselves & other vulnerable humans. It is not the role of a school board to limit someone else's constitutional rights. To support such limitations to carry on campus is to support placing everyone in that building at higher risk of deadly school violence. I cannot support doing that.
