OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

To save the life of the mother.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Did not answer

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Liberals have been attacking religious liberty in the public square and people's adherence to their religious and moral beliefs since the Great Society. The attempts to redefine life, family, marriage and gender, and the attacks on people who hold conservative moral and religious beliefs on these issues are an attack on religious liberty. Any individual who advocates a position that contradicts the "tolerance for any and all lifestyes" position of the far-left.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

The government has no business forcing any person or business to violate their moral or religious beliefs.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

All persons should be free to worship according to their conscience and the government should not favor one religion over another. Neutrality to religion is much different than the open hostility to religion and those who hold strong religious and moral beliefs advocated by the progressives.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. The government, school or employer has no authority to direct what healthcare decisions a person makes.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Healthcare insurance should be a function of free-market forces. There are a number of things that can be done to bring healthcare costs down, including allowing insurance to be purchased across State lines and allowing the formation of insurance pools for small employers. However, I do believe that we have a responsibility to maintain a Medicaid and Medicare safety net. However, Medicare and Medicaid programs and costs should be regularly audited to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

America has been and remains the "Shining City on the Hill" as a beacon of hope and freedom for the rest of the World. America has a responsibility to promote freedom across the globe by being the greatest example of freedom, through our trade policies, through diplomacy and by supporting our allies. However, intervention by the U.S. military should only be done when America's or America's allies' interests are threatened.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Israel is one of our strongest allies and I strongly support Israel.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

America needs to be ever vigilante in the War of Terror. The weakness of our current administration begets challenge by tyrants and terrorists. It is a matter of when, not if, terrorists attempt to enter the U.S. as part of the invasion at our southern border.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The invasion at the southern border poses an imminent National Security threat to every American.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

America is a Country of immigrants and is open to anyone willing to follow our laws including our immigration laws.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The integrity of elections relies on the identity of qualified voters. As Democrats have demonstrated that just as requiring photo IDs to get COVID tests and/or vaccines does not deprive access, so to can be said about voting.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Never again should voting laws be allowed to be changed during an election year by any authority or public officer, other than the State legislature, in the name of "emergency" or otherwise without an amendment to Article I, Section 4 to the U.S. Constitution.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism in all of its form is abhorrent. Use of the terms "racism" or "racist" on every occasion of disagreement in defense of an argument by politicians and media, has greatly undermined the seriousness of the impact of true racism where it exists. America affords the greatest freedoms and greatest opportunity for advancement in the history of mankind. However, people have not always lived up to the promises of the Declaration. As Americans we learn, grow, heal, and always move forward together, as one Nation, Under God, Indivisible. In America, there is more that unites us than divides us. We are all one America regardless of race, gender, religion or economic condition.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

As a Christian, I believe in Conservation and I love the outdoors. However, the government has no business trying to direct the market to meet its own agenda. The position of the current Administration has been a catastrophic failure to listen to Americans. Americans demand energy independence. This Administration has caused record inflation and forced families to choose between filling up their cars to go to work and feeding their families, all to push an agenda. If the market drives the economy to cleaner fuel and cleaner energy, then it will be organic over time with the appropriate infrastructure in place. This Administration has demanded immediate clean energy with no infrastructure in place and no plan for how Americans are supposed to navigate the energy crisis over the next 30 years.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

There is way too much power in Washington. Elitist, out of touch politicians continually demonstrate their self-service and desire only to maintain their own power. I believe we need to Restore America to the principles of our Founders, including a return to a limited, decentralized Federal Government where the power of government is returned to the State and local governments. The voices of the People are most loudly heard at the local level. I am a firm supporter of Constitutional Amendments requiring Congressional term limits and requiring that any Act of Congress apply equally to every elected, appointed and employed Federal officer/employee in the legislative and executive branches.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment protects the individual's right to bear arms, which right shall not be infringed.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Victims of automobile accidents even if intentional, do not have a cause of action against automobile manufactures. This is no different. The cause of action is against the perpetrator of the crime.
