QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Choose not to answer
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Choose not to answer
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Did not answer
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
No
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Support free economy and capitalism even more so by eliminating many governmental restrictions, especially small business. I will make it easier for farmers to be successful. I will use my 30+ years in business to get the economy thriving.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
I interpret this discussion by our framers of the Constitution related to the 1st amendment as "Freedom of Religion" that would prevent any government-sanctioned religion of any kind. I wholeheartedly agree with this concept, and consider myself a purist in the interpretation of our Constitution, it's articles and amendments. In today's terms, faith-based religion should not be allowed at schools and government facilities, but nor should recent social-based issues that are a new form of religion
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
This should be voluntary, and provide alternatives to education or services to those that choose not to be vaccinated.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C with the exception of Israel, where I believe we should support, as well as select free countries where democracy is threatened - those that are our strong allies.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Absolutely, they are one of our only true allies, and definitely in the Middle East.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
First, we are not viewed as a strong country since this administration has taken over. We have fumbled the exit of Afghanistan, and look weak to the entire world due to many poor foreign policy decision since. Next, we do not have enough ammunition, equipment nor supplies to fight a war on our own soil, but we keep giving billions of dollars worth of these supplies away to proxy wars and now Israel (which is in deserving need) which even further concerns men and women considering joining.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need to close the Southern Border and enforce our immigration laws. I completely agree with a normal flow of immigration. We are not able to help immigrants in need due to the number (will near $8M in Biden term) and that is not what America stands for. We need solutions ready for those migrating without financial means. Our immigration system creates proper assimilation into our country and for newcomers to feel proud to be an American. Remain in Mexico and other policies need re-enacted.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any and all without violent criminal (or repeat criminal) records, and according to our immigration laws.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I believe in the voucher program vs. the tax credits. I agree that one should be allowed to have full choice of school and home schools.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
I feel that either we do that, or completely overhaul the Department of Education in order to support school choice.
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
This is the United States of America, and with all of the freedoms bestowed upon us by the Constitution, people should be allowed to marry the individual they choose, even if it is a same-sex marriage.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a practicing, devout Catholic and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, IL. I am also a righteous Gentile, and believe in wholeheartedly supporting the Jewish faith (the faith of extended family members and friends). I also support Christian religions of all kinds, and attend women's bible study at Chapel Street Church in St. Charles, IL.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
This would not be a positive move for our heartland and small communities throughout the U.S. I am very supportive of these communities, as I live in one and grew up in farmland in the state of PA.
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Neutral
I agree that China is the #1 threat to any type of environmental issues and should be addressed.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Natural gas
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To be small and stay out of the way of our citizen's personal lives. The small centralized federal government should only be there to support our national security and threats against our nation, as well as provide a currency system and a few other shared needs of the nation.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I live and am running in the state of Illinois, that has the most restrictive gun policies by far than any other state in the nation. It is government over-reach, but even so, we have not improved our murder or gun violence rate at all despite added laws.
