QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
If the mother's live is in jeopardy or she has been raped. Especially if raped by a family member.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
These organizations should NEVER receive public tax dollars.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
As a CPA who prepares tax returns for hundreds of people, this list is very long. The TIP of this ice berg, tax rates for business and individuals, workers comp rates, payroll taxes on business, real estate taxes. They should ALL be re-worked! Again, this is NOT all that needs to be changed.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Elected officials should NOT receive ANY healthcare, pensions, or spending accounts as long as we have unbalanced budgets and pension debt. The State is forcing local government agencies to pay off their pension debt, but they themselves don't live by the same rules. NOT RIGHT!!!
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Agree
BUT, this is NOT one glove fits all. There should be levels of responsibility in place that the students HAVE to follow and abide with to receive this benefit. Life and College are NOT guaranteed. They have to have some skin in the game.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
The medical field should NEVER be forced to support abortions or abortion activity if it's against their moral or religious beliefs.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
NEVER!!!!!!!!!
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
NEVER!!!!!!!
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
How about--STOP FUNDING THEM!
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
BUILD THE WALL!
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Ukrainian people should be allowed into our country. We should go back to the "NORMAL" process for vetting people who wanted to come to America, and NOT take 2 plus years to complete the process. This could be done promptly IF our officials wanted this process to be done quickly.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Agree
I am not in favor of one policy fits all policies or schools. What about what the schools wish to teach and how they teach it? This question is way to open for me to support. I am not in favor of using taxpayer monies to support all types of schools.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
NEVER! GOD made two types of humans, MEN and WOMEN.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
GOD created the Heavens and Earth. We are made in his image. GOD is in ultimate control. He allows us the freedom to make our own decisions, good or bad and we have to live with those decisions and the consequences of those decisions. We should ALWAYS treat others as we would want to be treated ourselves.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We have to show a photo id to go into the driver's license bureau, to get onto a plane, to rent a car and many other things we do, why should we NOT have to produce a photo id to vote? Yes, we should have a photo id to vote!
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Photo id and tighten the rules for early voting and keeping track of those who request early voting ballots.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I'm not sure racism is a threat to domestic security, but racism of any kind is a threat to our country as a whole. Racism SHOULD NEVER happen and never be accepted. If we all looked at each other as brothers and sisters and not at the color of our skin, we would be a much better society and nation.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
See my answer above. DITTO!!
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
#1. To protect the nation from outside invasion. That's what our forefathers established. It is NOT, how to live our lives.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I have some, but I don't have access to them on this short notice.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
NO.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
To bring jobs, jobs and more jobs to the New 117th district. I will use the same business policies we established in building Williamson County to the 9 counties that will make up the 117th. Springfield is NOT the answer, the people of the 117th are the answer. When we improve our region, we will change Illinois from the ground up. Williamson County is the ONLY county to grow with population growth, economic growth, our schools grew, and our sales tax base grew. We did this because all elected officials worked together, and we were successful when virtually the entire State went the opposite direction. We put all types of people to work, and we were successful. This is what I will do going forward, and other districts will use our business plan to grow their legislative districts also.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
NEVER!!!
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
NONE!
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
If this was true, then when someone has an auto wreck, the automobile makers should be able to be sued. HOW RIDICULOUS!!
