RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

A majority of Americans do not support the funding of abortion through their hard-earned money. It is time for our national budget to reflect the people's will under God. The $500 million taxpayers’ dollars that annually funds Planned Parenthood could easily be reallocated to help unwanted babies or struggling families. We must protect the lives of innocent children from the time of conception. Abortion is not a form of contraception.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I support life from birth to death. Euthanasia is the premature death by another man’s hand and, as such, interferes with the plan for life that God has in store for each one of us. A decision to take another person's life could have eternal spiritual consequences not to mention there are times a person recovers or a doctor gives a wrong prognosis.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

It is highly concerning that the morale gauge on abortion has moved from a few weeks gestation to now seeing California push for 7 days post-birth and possibly up to the child's first birthday, depending upon how the courts interpret the term perinatal, in the proposed Assembly Bill 2223. This is the slippery slope that is created when people take it upon themselves to define when a life begins or ends. There can be no compromise when it comes to taking the life of another human being. Under no circumstance is abortion okay. It is murder. God hates hands that shed innocent blood. What is more innocent than a child in the womb? Regardless of how the child was conceived, no child is a criminal. They don't deserve to die a criminals death. I support abolishing abortion in the same way slavery was abolished. Every child is an image-bearer of God.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

America is the greatest nation on earth because it is the home of capitalism. There are many countries throughout the world operating within a socialist system proving this system simply does not work.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Many federally funded programs today are not supported by our U.S. Constitution and therefore need to be dismantled resulting in those funds being returned back to the tax payer, and where deemed appropriate, to the state and local governments.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

We need to fix the taxation system, make it fair, and eliminate burdensome regulations. I support a 10% federal flat tax for all, including businesses. No deductions, no exceptions, and no shelters. We need to get back to America's original design. According to our U.S. Constitution the federal governments responsibility is to: 1) Provide for common defense. 2) Manage foreign affairs 3) Protect the constitutional rights of U.S. citizens 4) Establish and maintain federal courts, and 5) Apply and explain federal law. All federally funded programs which exist outside the established scope of responsibility needs to be evaluated. The power needs to return to the people and be governed at the state and local level. Each state must set the tax rates with the benefit of their residents in mind and provide tax incentives for start ups and businesses that are investing in opportunity zones. According to the Small Business Administration, there are more than 30 million small businesses in our nation employing 60 million workers, almost half (47.5%) of the U.S. workforce. Small businesses represent over 90% of American businesses and generate a third of al exports. Overbearing regulations and taxes, lockdowns, and "mandates," supply chain interruptions, big corporation monopoly are hurting our nation's entrepreneurial backbone. The more taxes and regulations are imposed on businesses, the less businesses have to devote to startups and job creation.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Our U.S. Constitution protects a citizens right to assemble and worship regardless of a declared pandemic. It is unlawful for a government to infringe upon these rights. We are a free people and free we shall remain.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I support a business owners right to conduct their business with a clear conscience when it comes to their morals and/or religious beliefs. Patrons have the ability to chose where they shop based upon their personally held beliefs. Candidates for employment have the opportunity to choose where they will work based upon their personally held beliefs.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Our U.S. Constitution is the world's longest surviving written covenant of government. It was established upon a foundation of biblical principles whose boundaries were created to provide life, liberty, property, and to protect against the rule of a tyrannical government. The more that we see God being removed from government, school, and the market place, the more we are witnessing a societal decline in morality. This has become more prevalent over the last several years. To remove the church from the state is to remove our guiding light.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances are vaccinations to be required by any governmental agency, school, or employer. I support a persons medical autonomy and their ability to exercise right of conscience in these decisions. Vaccine and pharmaceutical companies are to maintain liability for injury resulting from a persons use of their products. Not having liabilities in place is a conflict of interest.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Healthcare starts by ensuring Americans have access to nutrient rich foods, maintain active lifestyles, and have access to health based education. Harmful chemicals and ingredients need to be banned from foods, skin care products, and household cleaners/products because they are creating a toxic load within individuals and making the American people sick. We should have equal access to holistic care as well as pharmaceuticals. Our health professionals should not be favoring one over another. Our medical professionals must uphold their Hippocratic oath to heal their patients, not drug them. There is no provision within the U.S. Constitution that supports government funded healthcare. Healthcare rates continue to increase, the quality of care has declined, and doctors have less time with patients now more than ever before. Universal healthcare will embolden medical facilities to be negligent and irresponsible with no consequence because they will continuously be subsidized. Veterans healthcare facilities are owned by the government and we see how poorly those facilities are being run. We need to ensure our veterans have access to the very best healthcare with reasonable appointment availability. The American taxpayer should not be paying incentives through universal medical programs. I believe the Federal Government should not be distributing medical funding. Each medical facility seeking taxpayer money should petition the designated counties they serve under. I desire to bring back the power of the state and county when it comes to spending taxpayers' money. It is the taxpayers job to come together to vote on what they deem a proper budget to give to the medical facilities. That will require the medical facilities to account for the people they serve. The state legislator's job will be to assign a certain amount of counties to that specific medical institution serving that area. The people of those counties should be the ones to decide what financial assistance will be offered from their tax dollars. We must remove federal incentives from medical facilities and ensure the local county/district controls taxpayer budgets. I oppose Big Pharma kickbacks to doctors as this creates a conflict of interest. I oppose denying someone coverage for pre-existing conditions.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

As it stands today, the U.S. debt is at a whopping $30 trillion dollars. If we do not take drastic measures to reduce our debt load we will not have the ability to protect ourselves let alone another nation. When our military is strong, focused, and respected the world benefits. When America is operating optimally, I do feel we have a responsibility to intervene, at the request of that nation, when the freedom of its citizens are being threatened. Operating this way is an example of offering help to nations in the same way we would desire to be helped if we were to fall under the same type of attack.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose BDS - a global campaign to delegitimize Israel's right to exist and defend itself.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Terrorism is not limited to Islam. To protect against terrorism in general, we start by protecting our borders and vetting those coming in and out of the country. Those who wish to live here must abide by the U.S. Constitution - no exceptions. We do not do business with countries who violate human rights laws. There needs to be zero tolerance on these issues in order to protect the safety and security of this nation.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Our borders safeguard the sovereignty and safety of our nation. Reinstitute Title 42. Complete the wall. Hold public officials accountable who are breaking immigration law.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

This nation is a beacon of hope and freedom to so many who desire a better life for themselves and their families. I support legal immigration when the proper processes are being followed. The children and their parents would have to have a clean record, learn to speak English, and know the history and values of our country. They would be required to pass an exam similar to those taken for citizenship to receive a five-year residence renewable upon completing a new test and maintaining an impeccable record. At that point, these new residents would obtain permanent legal status. They would be eligible to stay and work, but unless they were a minor under the age of 12 when entering the country illegally, they would not be able to become citizens. I believe that granting citizenship to children already born in the US from illegal immigration can be beneficial in rectifying the breach caused by unlawful immigration in our nation. However, I do not support the abuse of our 14th Amendment, which was meant to naturalize slaves. Using this blood-bought Amendment to have “anchor” babies should be a punishable crime. It should not take 20 years for law-abiding immigrants to become lawful American residents and citizens. Getting illegal immigration under control should help make legal immigration fair and reasonable. In so doing, only constitutional laws need to be enforced. Our immigration system needs to be merit and skilled-based. Only 15% of visas are granted to immigrants based on their skill set. This has to change. Our immigration system should not favor immigration through family ties over merit. People coming into our land should know our values, goals, and aspirations as a nation.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe we are to love God, love each other, preserve freedom, and protect our American way of life. I believe the Bible is the word of God which trains a person in morals and ethics. I believe we are accountable to our creator for the decisions we make and the integrity in which we walk things out. I believe a person who accepts bribes is disqualified from serving in office. I believe Proverbs 29:2, "When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan." I believe our only hope in restoring our nation is to turn back to God. 2 Chronicles 7:14 " Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land."

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

In order to protect integrity to our elections process, a person must vote with a valid photo ID. Without proper identification, a person can't enroll into school, board a plane, visit a doctor, get a job, or do anything else in life. The same is expected with voting.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Protecting election integrity is vital and must be held to the highest standard if we intend to protect this republic and our Constitution. By having accountability measures put in place we can guard against foreign and domestic cyber-hacking, untraceable methods of voting, and fraud. Digital voting systems and mail-in ballots create a great vulnerability to our election outcomes. We must abolish digital voting systems to protect against foreign and domestic cyber-hacking. We must do away with mail-in ballots as they lack traceability and accountability. The proposed solutions are paper ballots and absentee ballots with a voter ID. In order to vote, a voter must provide a government-issued voter ID with an emblem placed on the registered voter ID card or a voter registration with a valid state ID. Absentee ballots should be requested in advance by a registered/verified voter and delivered by Election Day. Each voter will cast their vote with a paper ballot after their identity has been verified. In the interim, we need patriots to volunteer at voting facilities to ensure the integrity of our election process.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The law not being upheld and not holding people accountable for destroying their cities is a threat to domestic security.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Generally speaking, when considering the proposed Green Deal - our nation is in no position to consider a deal which will bankrupt this country with it's $550 billion dollar plan causing us to lose energy independence, substantially increase the cost of beef and dairy, among other disastrous outcomes. I do not support the Green Deal or the Build Back Broke deal. Relating to other environmental laws and regulations, a big picture approach is necessary in order to review existing concerns and perform a cost/benefit analysis in order to address each concern independently.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I look forward to having the opportunity to represent the people of district 14 in Illinois. My commitment is to protect the American way of life by protecting our U.S. Constitution. The top issues I will be addressing in office are: 1. Election Integrity 2. Border Control 3. Education Reform, School Choice, Bringing common sense education back to the state and local level, Abolishing CRT and other programs hurting our children. 4. Reduce national debt by cutting wasteful programs 5. Protecting First Responders and Veterans Programs 6. Protecting Life from the Womb to the Tomb

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support providing police officers with the tools and programs they need to do their jobs. We must reinstitute Stop and Frisk in our cities. I also support having accountability measures put in place to hold officers accountable who have a history of abusing their power.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I support increased funding to police departments to support paid training and mental health recovery resources for our officers.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the U.S. Constitution which gives its citizens the right to keep and bear arms. This means the FOID card must be abolished. I do not endorse any restrictions that push for gun control/bans. Under no circumstances should any policy prevent lawful gun owners from keeping and bearing arms. When a crime is committed by an individual, they are prosecuted, and put in jail. We do not disarm our citizens' ability to protect themselves.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
