OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only when carrying the the baby to term will cause the death of the mother.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The graduated income tax brackets need to be set to keep pace with inflation. Failure to do so harms everyone.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The separation between church and state is to keep the state out of churches, not churches out of state. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian values. John Adams once stated, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." I fully agree with John Adams on this topic.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Individuals should be allowed to weigh the pros and cons and decide for themselves. The government, a school, or employer should not be allowed to decide the pros and cons for the individual, when it is the individual that will have to bear the consequences of the decision. If a vaccine is effective against a particular disease, those that receive it are not put at risk by those that do not get the vaccine.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Israel is more tolerant than the surrounding Arabic countries in the middle-east. It is hypocritical to criticize Israel while continuing to do business with countries like Saudi Arabia.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

China is actively poisoning our culture and stealing our intellectual property. They are actively working to supplant the United States as the global superpower.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States can help eradicate Islamic terrorism by stopping its actions that help create it. Our foreign affairs has had the directive to arm different factions of militants to fight each other, and the faction we arm today becomes our adversary in the region tomorrow. Additionally, America makes recruitment for Islamic extremist groups easier by doing bad things to the local populous (such as invading their country and utilizing drones to attack soft targets). If the United States stops giving Islamic extremists weapons and stops doing things that turns regular people into extremists, the threat of Islamic terrorism will decrease.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The United States has a right to determine who is admitted into its interior.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Disagree

Funds should be allocated on the basis of legal citizens in the designated region. If such a city or state wishes to dilute the funds to its citizens by allowing non-citizens take up residence, that is their decision. Non-citizens should not receive federal benefits, nor be permitted to vote.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those that follow the established, legal process should be allowed to immigrate the the United States.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

Discrimination should not be allowed, but biological males should not be allowed in female designated spaces such as bathrooms or changing rooms and they should be prevented from participating in women's sports.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

The United States is the greatest country to ever exist, and it was founded on an ideal of equality for all. While we initially failed to live up to that ideal, we have continually pursued progress on it since our inception.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian Conservative. I believe the Bible is the literal word of the one, true God. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion, even if I do not agree with their decisions or lifestyle. I believe in hard work and that everyone has an obligation to try to put more into a system than they take out. I believe in helping your neighbor, but also that your neighbor is responsible for trying to help themselves and others.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voting is a right, but all rights come with responsibilities. Responsibilities that come with voting include knowing what you are voting for and being willing to do the bare minimum needed to protect the right to vote by cutting down potential fraud.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I am in favor of requiring photo identification for voting and would like to see more actions taken to protect against voter fraud.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Current racism is not the solution to past racism. The concept of reparations pretends that all members of one race are oppressed and all members of another race are oppressors, which is certainly not true.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The threat to domestic security in the United States is not racism, but the belief that perceived racism makes domestic terrorism permissible.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

The United States should do what is necessary to be energy independent.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. The belief that exporting extraction/refining to other nations is better for the environment is misguided.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Our nation's values are shifting further and further Liberal. Views thought to be moderately Conservative 30 years ago are now Very Conservative.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

N/A

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Our nation's number one focus should be accountability in government. We are suffering as a nation because we have people in our government who do not feel the need to act in our best interests. The way we solve this is by increasing transparency in government and holding the bad actors accountable for their actions.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment states that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed. There should not be any restrictions on gun ownership of legal adult citizens of the United States without due process of the individual.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Provided the parties did not break the law, their role is no different from a car dealer or car manufacturer after a traffic collision.
