RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe that anyone that receives an abortion for any reason other than a life saving emergency, rape, incest, or similarly situated cases, should undergo tubal sterilization performed at the time of the induced abortion.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Any person who uses taxpayer funding to receive an abortion should be disqualified from receiving all forms of state assistance.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
I don't believe this is a matter the state should really be involved in.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Eliminate Iowa's tax code and replace it with a picture of Claire Celsi to remind future generations how scary the personal income tax is.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Deconstruction of the administrative state, gutting what's left of the public sector unions, cut as much as possible from welfare & public 'service's programs, sell or lease out unused land owned by the State, and any other wasteful or unnecessary government programs.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
The is no provision in the Iowa Constitution that requires the State to provide a minimally sufficient public education or require the state to fund them. Our public education system has also been infiltrated for the past 60 years by Neo-Marxists who use critical pedagogy to trigger social change. Or in other words, they have been brainwashing our kids to believe they are inherently racist and that the only way to fix it is to adapt to forget their old 'truth' & invest in social diversity.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Our Constitution was written to limit government and protect the right of the individual. An individual or business shoulf be able to provide services to whoever they want whenever they want using their own judgment. This is something the free market should handle, not the government.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never. Government and Churches should never have to exist within the same circle. When that happens, we risk government replacing god or god replacing the government. Any time we mix the Bible with the Sword, slaves are made out of men.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
The constitutional conservative in me tells me to choose D, but we've made the mistake of letting these socialist welfare programs become so firmly entrenched in out society that it is bleeding us dry. We have also seen what can happen when these healthcare programs become dependent on government funding of Medicade & Medicare in the form of Creepy Joe's vaccine mandates. Government money always comes with strings attached and is another reason to defund. However, to abolish any program that people have come to rely on is an impossible task. We need to get to the root of the problem, which is ending Government policies that shift the burden to private insurers, licensing barriers & state certification of need laws end up being protectionist policies that force potential competitors out of the market, there is just so many factors involved mostly centered around the government.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. Schools are government so these two can be summed up through the right of self ownership. Private ownership is a little tougher to argue, other than people can always find a employer that suits their personal values more. That's usually not the practical thing to do for long time employees, but once again, it's more of a free market issue than a rights issue. Employers who backed the attempted Biden mandate are now having troubles filling those jobs. Personally, if after seeing how many people are having severe helath complications to the jab, as well as waiting to see what the long term affects will be, plus the sheer ineffectiveness of the vax to protect against new variants should all add up to tell someone that the risk isnt worth it. Jobs come and go but vaccine related deaths are a one way street.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
By doing what President Trump did. Make mutually beneficial economic deals between countries that have historically been at war with each other. This is also known as the McDonald's doctrine because it the fact that there has never been a war between two nations that had a McDonald's operating between their borders (at least this was the case before the Russia/Ukraine conflict). Once two nations become economically tied to each other usually dont go to war with each other.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Choose not to answer
I'm not touching this one and pledge that I will instead focus on issues that affect us here in Iowa.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Finish the damn wall!
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any peaceful and productive people who after being thoroughly vetted, choose to do so legally.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
Public schools have become indoctrination centers of the radical left and they seek to program our children from the daycare center to our colleges. There is no other way to get rid of the infestation other than burning the entire system down and starting it over. Neo-Marxist critical theory is the equivalent of the CIAs Mkultra mind control program. Democrats are destroying America & we need to stop them.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Disagree
There has been a long list of Judeo-Christian politicians who have both grown the government into a Leviathan like structure and possessed the moral turpitude equal to that of a weekend getaway on Epstein Island. Limited government has nothing to do with religious background. It has to do with having a strong Constituion and the means to hold governments accountable for violating it.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Gender identity already is a protected class under the Iowa Civil Rights Act. And I dont support it being there and wouldn't support it adding it if wasnt. Gender identity might not be a choice for some people but the transitioning process is. No one should be considered a protected class because the used free will. Pedophiles may not feel like it's a choice for them to want diddle kids, but should we make them a protected class too?
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Disagree
Governments shouldn't be involved in anyone's decision to be with another person not should you need a license to do so. If marriage is a God given ordained union, then only God can judge them for it. I have bigger issues that I could be dealing with.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
If anyone answers any other choice than strongly disagree, they are the enemies of our Republic and should be dealt with accordingly.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My beliefs are rooted in the concept of freedom and liberty that is founded by Natural Law.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Audit the entire State of Iowa's 2020 election results, highlight any and all anomalies or unusual circumstances, then remove them from the books. Make no mistake, as long as we allow excuseless absentee voting, proprietary voting machines and resources supplied by 3rd party vendors, or Democrats in general to exist, there will continue to be rampant voter fraud.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Because radical leftists and socialists are attempting to fulfill their Marxist destinies by inciting the revolution necessary to move them into the next phase of their plan and are using race to provide the spark. Most dont even realize what is happening all around us but we need to inform them and show them with their own eyes.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
My family never owned any slaves. Quit bitching about things that happened 200 years ago that no one during this day and age can control.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
You lost me at stricter laws.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
We went from leading the world in natural gas reserves to no reserves and $5/gallon gas. FJB!
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To protect individual liberty and follow its enumerated constitutional duties.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I worked for Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty in 2012 as well as his son Rand's presidential campaign in 2015. I am a constitutional pundit and one of the most fierce advocates of personal liberty and individual freedom in the State of Iowa.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Absolutely not.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
To paraphrase Kevin Costner's character John Dutton on the show Yellowstone, "There is a war being waged against our way of life. They'll tell you all the reasons why our way of life is bad for America. The ugly truth is they want a revolution. And if they get it, it will never look like our great Republic again. That is progress in today's terms. So if it's progress you seek, do not vote for me. I am the opposite of progress. I am the wall that it bashes against. And I will not be the one who breaks." I believe this perfectly sums up the fight we all have ahead of us. These are our enemies, not our colleagues or associates. Progress to them is destroying what's sacred to us. I refuse to let that happen and is exactly why I chose to be on the ballot June 7th.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
Police need to be able to act without hesitation in the line of duty, however, we need to be able to hold the government accountable for when they fail to fulfill their duties to the general public as well. I know I wouldn't provide this much protection for any other state bureaucrat. I would be higher on this list if the first two words said law enforcement instead of police officers as well. There is a significant difference between the two.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
No answer is needed. This is commie talk about defunding the police. We need to defund Democrats instead.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The 2nd amendment exists for protecting an individual's life, liberty and property, not the public at large. For this interpretation I whole heartedly support zero restrictions within reason.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
This has always baffled me. Other than if they somehow acted in negligence, why? They dont sue Chevy for no reason when someone gets in an accident do they?
