QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only to save the life of the mother

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Impose a flat tax or national sales tax and eliminate the IRS. There is way too much political manipulation involved with the current burdensome tax code.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Eliminate many of the bureaucratic agencies that have ballooned in size over the course of time, such as the department of education which should be handled at the state level. The department of energy was created in 1977 with a handful of employees to lessen our dependence on foreign oil, which now has a budget of 22.4 Billion with over 16,000 employees. That is just one example, but the waste and unnecessary programs continue to grow every year.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Government should never be able to close churches. Our constitution is clear on the First Amendment in that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

There should never be required vaccinations for anyone. Health care decisions are between you and your doctor and government should have no say in an individual's health care decisions.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We should stop trying to intervene in foreign countries, such as nation building, which has been an abject failure. If we are threatened in the United States, then our criminal justice system and the military can be utilized to protect our citizens.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those that have been backgrounded and gone through the legal means to become a US citizen. Illegal immigration should not be permitted. Follow the law!

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and believe that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and the Bible is the absolute Word of God. My values come from my Christian faith and that no matter what others believe, we are to love one another.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Eliminate all mail in voting. Require in-person voting with ID on the election day and absentee voting should be done in person with voter ID prior to the election.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is pushed by many in our government to divide people. Same thing they do to divide us on other lines, such as rich vs. poor, left vs. right. The only way to eliminate this is to treat everyone the same fair manner for all. America is a melting pot and when we are all Americans. If our government and politicians stopped using divisive rhetoric to pander to various interest groups and just treated us as American citizens, racism would eventually disappear.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

With current technologies, the line between the two have become marginally thin. We need to be good stewards of our environment but shutting down industries and crushing our economy is not the answer. We were energy dependent less than two years ago with a good economy while still protecting our environment. Now our economy has hyper-inflation after shutting down our own energy production and relying on more expensive gas and oil imports from other nations with less environmental regulations that we have here in the US. There is no balance right now and most Americans are suffering from those decisions.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The preamble of the Constitution states it best: Establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have attended candidate forums, voting precinct meetings and just about any venue to talk about my campaign and beliefs. I have filled out a number of surveys similar to this one where you will find my beliefs to be consistent.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am an America First Candidate. My background is in law enforcement where I served 33 years, the last nine being as a Chief of Police. I am running because our country is headed in the wrong direction and I cannot sit back and complain without doing something. We endured unconstitutional mandates during this COVID period as we saw our rights and liberties under attack. Our economy is tanking and trust in government is at an all time low. I have no desire to be in politics, but good men and women need to step up and serve to right our country. I have already committed to my constituents that I will not serve more than three two-year terms if elected as politics was never meant to be a career. I believe in term limits and getting rid of any pay and benefits for political offices after your term is over.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe in the second amendment and would support constitutional carry

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
