QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion should be allowed based on the laws of the state that a person lives in. The rights of the unborn should be considered with high high regard in such regard that purpose has been assigned by God at the moment of conception. A person can overcome almost any odds given the power of a loving and invested God.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger's motive was one of eugenics that targeted people based on their race. Government sponsored genocide is unacceptable.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

Pain and suffering are part of life and create opportunities. If a person decides they do not wish to receive the support provided necessary to sustain their life, they should be able to choose not to accept life sustaining support.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Emphasis needs to be placed on creating areas with a high taxable value per acre of land with the lowest investment of public infrastructure to reduce sprawl, increase local connections between people of all earning potentials to promote a strong social fabric and reduce personal bias.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would focus spending in areas that promote the creation of small business and entrepreneurism as soon as possible in the education system through maker spaces, business incubators and promote the steady reduction off all programs that train people not to create wealth by providing value to the free markets.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

I believe that people value what they work for and earn. We have a shortage of high paying trade jobs and an abundance of graduates who are not willing or able to pay their debts for college. We should close the unsecured lending practices that allow people to assume debts without a fair assessment of risk and encourage the priority of means that allow people to own property as a primary means to wealth creation as a foundation for further education.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

A person's religious liberties should be protected at the highest levels so as that they do not directly harm the lives of others. When politics governs morality we have no basis for standards of truth and justice.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None, People have the right for peaceful assembly. Allow churches to decide how to operate. To close a church is to violate the attributes that foster a churches ability to achieve the means of it's role in our society as a place of growth, moral strength and hope. The hopeful mindset is one of the most powerful factors to create individual and collective courage in the face of fear.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

The role of insurance providers in Healthcare has no checks and balances and causes cost to spiral out of control. Competition provides the greatest opportunity for lowing cost. We should seek ways to create more competition in in the areas where services are not allowed to flourish in a free market. The focus should be to diminish the power of large pharmaceutical and health providers and provide more opportunity for smaller more innovate players in the healthcare space. Healthcare access for basic needs should be provided to those in old age or those of humble means but should be overseen locally within communities where needs are know by the people who live in those areas. Governments lack the compassion that creates good health decisions.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Vaccination should be a personal choice and left to the discretion of parents in situations where an individual is not of sufficient age to decide for themselves. It is evil to remove qualified experienced professionals and replace them with compliant government paid military personal as the leading healthcare provider in our community did during the pandemic. As a community we suffer by lowering the standards of public health when this happens. Organizations that allow the practices should lose their charter and a focus to create smaller organizations who can provide a higher quality of services. Many of the people in these organizations are eager to create their own businesses.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The US should monitor all organizations who desire to kill Americans and to destroy our country and take sufficient action to prevent individuals and organizations from creating fear and chaos while protecting personal and constitutional liberties.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

I believe part of the prosperity of our nation hinges on our support of Israel as an ally. I place my confidence in elected US officials to maintain vital diplomatic relationships to support peace.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We have a shortage of labor in key industries that support Building and Construction for residential homes. I believe that we should provide limited work visas for qualified candidates to meet labor shortages and NOT allow people to cross the border without participating in a legal immigration process. Education and Healthcare are expensive services to provide and citizenship is not valued unless it comes at a price. We can't expect people who don't participate in the legal process to obey laws.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who participate in the legal process. We should seek to meet important needs and shortages in our labor markets and provide limited work visas to meet those needs.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

School choice provides incentives for performance. We need counterbalances when funding is not prioritized in education for communities that are at risk so as not to create separation by class, race and age and any other factors that limit others to participate in the freedom that choice allows.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Gender identity is a rapidly changing field of emotive based intellectualism. I would support work to catalog and tell the stories of the lives of those who embrace rapidly evolving identity beliefs. Answers are held in the life relationships and significant events that evolve in parent-child relationships. I believe we should look too large Spanish speaking families for insight and listen to African American grandmothers for perspective.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Agree

The relationship between a man and a women is required to create new life. Our ability to survive as a nation depends on prioritizing protecting this scared and legal union and the creation of strong families. Birth rate is keep to survival of a national identity.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

The aim of CRT is to create division and separation based on race. This is inconsistent with the pledge of allegiance to protect our nation as indivisible. Work should be done to provide a more comprehensive perspective on evils committed on the basis of race with a focus on creating a hopeful mindset that all are created equal at the basis of life. No one who succeeds does not overcome odds and opposition.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Personal Responsibility, Government rests on God's Shoulders, Liberty, Justice for All, Create a world where people are hopeful about becoming everything they were formed to be though effort, perseverance and self-discipline. Romans 12:1-2, Daniel 12:3, Philippians 3:14-21

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

People should be able to audit the ballots cast in such a way that create confidence and integrity in the process.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

The greatest opportunity to create constitutional literacy with the public to create pressure on officials who don't represent the pubic or obey the laws and ethics of their procession in civic roles. Election Boards and Election Superintendents who do not provide access to open records requests should be criminally liable. Work should be done to provide a focused election on a single day to prevent fraud. Full transparency should be provided to the process by which electronic systems are used to conduct elections. No unintelligible codes or digital means should be included in the voting process in such that they are not open to inspection and audit. The unpassed version of SB89 2021-2022 which included language to unseal Georgia election ballots and improve ballot chain of custody procedures would have been very helpful. SB89 language could have allowed counterfeit ballots to be detected and electronic votes to be verified. These means are vital in deterring fraud in upcoming elections. I support appointing Garland Favorito in an official capacity to oversee election processes for the state of Georgia.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No great problem is solved by focusing on the problem. The opportunity is being indivisible as a nation, this requires that we be face to face and create land use rules that create areas where people of all means can live amongst each other. The Midtown Garden district is a great example of providing a built environment that remains vibrant and minimizes tensions across race.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Neutral

I believe a robust public dialog and a study of other nations who have participated in reparations should be conducted from a cause-and-effect basis. Weight should be giving to the capacity of reparations to create sincere healing and forgiveness. If reparations would lead to those ends, we should thoroughly vet the outcomes and explore what implementation could look like. Without a healing and forgiveness and open dialog in the area of our national wounds little progress will be made.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Our priority should be on Energy Independence and we should carefully inspect all grants at the federal level who promote biased environmental studies to promote a political agenda.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

If energy independence is produced though hydraulic fracking, we should create public dialog with geological and geo technical experts who have not received any political incentives and who have a diverse client base other thank purely petroleum and gas clients. Public health risks should be well documented and communicated.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect Liberty and To promote Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. To protect against foreign threats, provide safe communities and create opportunity for people to grow and create the lives they desire to have.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://ballotpedia.org/James_Allen_Rodi

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Housing Policy is my number one priority. The built environment affects the way we frame our daily lives. The social engineering of use-based zoning practices has created separation by social class. We need to look at pre 1940s constructs for land use and to model world class models for our built environment to create stable housing costs and opportunities for people to own and create wealth even if it means it's a small size property. We need more missing middle style housing on small parcels in suburban areas under a transect zoning philosophy so as to protect the fabric and character of our existing communities.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe we need more education on gun safety where children are concerned. Perhaps we should include gun safety in our primary education system.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

Victims of gun violence should receive justice from the court system against the individuals and organizations that failed to uphold their policies.
