OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

There are no circumstances in which the murder of a child (born or unborn) should be legally allowed.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

Before Covid, I would have answered Agree, maybe even Strongly Agree. However, when New Zealand passed a law in December 2021 that would allow a team of doctors to make that decision on the behalf of the patient, I saw that a law intended to be humanitarian in nature was then weaponized against their own ailing people. We have seen well-intended laws in our country contorted and misused. I would hate for American citizens to be exterminated when their age or health became problematic.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Georgia is sitting on over $30 Billion over and above the state budget, and it continues to grow. I would support a bill to step down the state income tax for all Georgia's taxpayers, with the goal of eliminating it altogether.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Identify and eliminate overlapped spending for the same services in all areas.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

NONE! The government overreach during Covid should NEVER happen again.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

NONE! The government should never force a person to take a drug or undergo a procedure that violates their personal healthcare choice.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Close the borders would be a great start... then complete the wall and put Trump policies back in place. Too many are coming into this country from all over the world, completely unvetted or detained.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who have skills that this country needs that we can't find domestically should be allowed to immigrate to the US. What is happening now with the money spent on taking care of the influx of illegal immigrants is criminal. Our citizens and veterans are struggling, yet their needs go unnoticed by the government.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe we are all created by God, in His image. Biological boys are male. Biological girls are female. And marriage is between one man and one woman. Abortion is the murder of innocents and should never be legal. Families are sacred and should be protected and strengthened. I also believe in the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and salvation through His grace.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would eliminate the Dominion voting machines and any other machine that has the potential to be hacked through the internet. Voting does not need algorithms. Machines should be connected by VPN to a central location and not to the world wide web. I would also eliminate ballot boxes entirely. If someone requests an absentee ballot, that ballot should be mailed to the elections board by a certain postmarked deadline, postage paid.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism, as defined by any one race being superior to another, does present domestic security threats. We should never forget the BLM riots and city takeovers in 2020.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

According to the Preamble of the Constitution: Establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general welfare, and secure blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have not run for office previously. There are no interviews or media reports available that support my very conservative values.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I founded Encompass Ministries, aka Papa's Pantry, a Christian ministry in 1998 with the mission to get people on their feet and off of government assistance. This is the second time in all the years that I have watched the decline in the work ethic because the government pays people to stay home, and not go back into the workforce. It's now time to prioritize our family values and regain our nation's work ethic. Families and small businesses are crumbling. We will lose our beautiful America if people don't take a stand.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

As Americans, we have a right to own and bear arms for our protection from tyranny. I support background checks to identify convicted felons and those with a history of diagnosed mental illness. Other than that, there should be no restrictions.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
