RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe the current Georgia law should be given time to settle in and see where and ho it affects Georgians. Until then I believe we should not make changes to the current law.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

It is not the role of government to fund health care. This is a gross over reach of government responsibility.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The state should continue to return as much of the surplus funds as possible to Georgians while making sure the state is in a strong position given the likely recession we are heading towards from the failed Biden-Abrams economic policies.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

While Georgia does balance the budget I would look closely at the spending in the supplemental budget. This budget tends to hide some of the worst spending.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Primary education should certainly be offered to all citizens as required by the Federal Government any secondary education should be the choice and obligation of the individual.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Agree

The government should never be so powerful as to force someone to violate their moral or religious beliefs. In fact it is the responsibility of the Government to protect everyone's right to worship and believe as they wish.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Churches, Mosques, Temples, Synagogues should never be closed by the government. In fact when things are most dire houses of worship should be encouraged to open their doors to those in need physically, emotionally and spiritually. They should become a refuge for those seeking it.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

While I am seeking a state position citizen safety should be the paramount concern for Government at all levels. It would negligent of governments to focus explicitly on Islamic terrorism. Governments at all levels should work tirelessly to prevent all forms of terrorism, international, religious, domestic and local. Terrorism not matter the culprit is a dangerous and destructive type of war that leaves long term scarring and impact, eroding the community moral and peace.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I was fortunate to spend some time with extended family in Israel and contrary to the majority of the coverage here there is a great deal of collaboration between the Arabs, Christians and Jews. Unfortunately the government of West Bank and other territories is devoted to the destruction of Israel and until that changes Israel has the right and obligation to protect all of their citizens, muslim, jew and christian alike.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Contrary to the Biden Abrams position the southern border has been overrun to the point where every state has become a border state. We must have orderly migration so that our country can be secure in who is coming here. The United States is the greatest country on the planet and I understand the desire of so many to come and try to obtain the American dream but we must have a secure border to ensure that coming seek the opportunity to proper and are not here to cause harm and terror

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Zip codes and government bureaucrats should not set the path for a child's future. Parents and families should be empowered to make sure their children receive the eduction that best suits their child. The fact is not every child fits even in exceptional schools and parents ought to have access to their funds to make sure their child finds the school that best prepares them for the future.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Disagree

Marriage has been codified by government as a contract between two adults. That said Government should not ever force a business or place of worship to share the belief in that contract. If governments wish to have a license for marriages and couples choose to obtain one that is fine and the government can define what constitutes consenting adults The government has no right to dictate to private individuals, businesses or religions what they must believe or do in opposition to their beliefs

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a cradle Episcopalian. I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and through God's Grace and Forgiveness I am set out to live a full life.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I was fortunate to work on the Senate Committee that passed voter ID in Georgia. In the nearly 20 years since its passage we have seen more secure elections that have been easier to vote and harder to cheat. What we have not seen is a single voter unable to cast a ballot for lack of ID.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I believe we should make voting a national holiday and have a single day of national voting.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism regardless the race excluded will always cause an issue insecurity. We must stop finding reasons to divide and realize we are an amazing country with unbelievable opportunity for all who seek it. As long as there are forces who want to pit one race, nationality or gender against another there will be challenges to our domestic stability and security.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government's primary purpose is the safety and security of its citizens.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

A limited government that allows for as much individual freedom is best suited to obtain the American Dream. Government has a role to play in many things but it should first ask the question does this hurt or harm the individual.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I have been blessed to have three amazing careers. I am classically trained chef and spent almost 15 years working for small and large businesses. I opened my own company and have been in business doing political, communication and business consulting helping candidates, small businesses and families ever since. These opportunities have taught me the weight of excessive government regulations. The toll building a business takes on individuals and the the real struggle that causes a lot of sleepless nights for them all. I have learned how to solve many of those challenges from experience, relationships and research.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Very few. The fact is legal gun ownership creates a safe community.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
